I used to microwave broccoli at work, but people at work were complaining about it smelling like poop/farts, so I stopped. Same thing with hard boiled eggs. A lot of healthy food is kinda stinky.

So, I'm lurking on this thread and I just have to say what an inspiration all of you are to me. I've been watching you guys since I started in February and it's fun and encouraging to watch your weight loss tickers all go down! I can see, through all of you, what a big payoff that can be mine by sticking on the plan. Thank you!!

Don't lurk, feel free to join in :)

had WI and lost 3lbs! Just to let you know, I was in the city the other day, and a food court, and had the BEST SALAD EVER from Subway. Had the ham and boy was it good. I have dressing packages from Walden Farms.

Murphy,

Welcome to the club! :) We're all here for each other, so there's no need to lurk! Hope to hear from you again soon.

Milestone today

Today I weighed myself.. Frankly, I could give a hoot less if it's what the scale at my coaches said... I am "officially" 50% of the way through my weight loss journey.. 117.8lbs down, 117.6 to go... I could cry.. I'm so stinking proud of myself.. and so happy.. I never thought I'd get this far.

Never thought I'd get to a point where I "only" had to lose 100lbs (ok so I'm rounding by 17.6lbs). Just wanted to share, not EVERYTHING is bad! I actually was able to keep down 813 calories today too! Maybe things are on an upswing again :)

Congrats dlr!

Kawaii, even the tough parts are good lately. Amazing how having control over one part helps most of the rest, particularly our attitudes.

Slip,

That's exactly right. My attitude has been kinda stinky lately. I've been avoiding posting so that I didn't come across as a negative nancy or a "woe is me girl". I was frustrated at the situation outside of my control, and was angry that it was happening *now* (like medical issues can be timed).

That being said, I had a long talk with a few friends today and they helped me get my head on straight. I'm moving in the right direction.. which is getting healthier!

 to all!

Good morning everyone,

The sun is shining. It is the first day of spring break for me. Couple of social events this weekend, a birthday and Palm Sunday brunch with my whole extended family. The party is a little unknown, because it is at a restaurant/ country club. I will bring tea bags, dressing and if worse comes to worse- I will just eat when I get home.

I hope that you have a great OP day. Remember- attitude and actions are everything.

dlr: I have had Subway salads, they are tasty. Goood job at WI!!!

Kawaii: You are doing so amazing! My attitude has been stinky lately too, that is when I know I need this board and these people more then ever. I don't post as much but I am here alot more reading. Half way to goal, that must make the motivation and attitude improve! Keep going, you will get there.

Welcome to the new comers!

Wow, what a busy week! My hours at my second job will probably be getting cut back since I am working myself out of work. Which is a good and a bad thing. Oh well, we will see what happens. My motivation is returning, I hope it comes and stays until I reach goal! LOL. DH and I are off to buy some new pants today, hopefully we can find some nice ones. Wish me luck! Have a great weekend everyone.
