Default Am I on track?

I have been on program for 30 weeks and have lost 56 pounds. In the last 8 weeks my average has been 1.6# per week. Is this normal or should I be expecting more? My coach reviews my journal each week and says "everything looks great". Just wanted to know if I should be expecting more.

You're doing great. As you get further along and closer to goal losses will slow down. Also check inches lost.

You are doing awesome Momma! Like Cynaria said, the closer you get to your goal the slower most people lose.

Be sure to track your inches too - those are just as (maybe more) important as the pounds.

Congratulations on losing 56 pounds! While we all dream of losing at least 3 lbs a week-reality is that's an average and some of us are going to be slower than that-don't get depressed by comparisons. It is what it is. You are losing and that's what matters! Work with your coach to see if you can adjust things! Great job with your persistence and success!!

The average for women is 2-4 lbs/week. It looks like your right in the average. You're doing great!
I found the longer I was on IP, the slower my losses got. The original diet was designed for athletes, who would be on it for a maximum of about 10 weeks so they never really got the slowdown.

Be happy you were down!! I gained 0.75 pounds in the past week, and that was totally 100% OP. Sometimes your body just wants to take a break. In any case, any loss is a good loss. You just have to keep doing the right things every day in spite of what you think your scale should be doing.
