I had to go shopping over the weekend because I have no jeans that fit!! Very excited to buy pants two sizes down from a few months ago I also sold my larger clothes to Clothes Mentor so that way I cannot go backwards!
Yeah! Thats awesome! I told my dad I was getting rid of my big clothes and he said, "Uh you should probably hang on to them in case." Incase what, no way Im getting out of control again
I love hearing about everyone's successes! I am on take 2, day 6. I have lost 9 pounds and since drastically reducing my soy protein (thank you so much Lisa!), I am not sick this time around!
Hope everyone had a great OP weekend and looking forward to a 100% OP week! I had decided when I first started this journey that I was not going to keep it a secret. I was going to commit 100% and let people in my life know about it (not broadcast it, but not keep it secret either). To close friends and family I actually made a point to tell them about the program and that I wanted their support. I have 'announced' diets so many times before that I had to include "please try not to be skeptical, and just support me. I really believe I will succeed this time".
It's so interesting that you mention this. I usually "keep it to myself" to avoid the weird looks, odd questions, and lack of support or even sabotage. This time is different. I'm not telling everyone but I've been much more open and unapologetic about my "eating plan". I think you are right, it's more accountable this way.
Good morning fellow IPers! I had a wonderful weekend staying totally OP despite hosting a football party at my house full of chicken wings, chips, and pigs in the blanket. Wasn't even tempted! I have not yet shared photos of myself (I'm not sure why, just don't feel totally comfortable revealing my identity!), but I HAVE to share this one. The first picture in a Mets t-shirt is from April, 3 weeks before I started IP (and no, I'm not a Mets fan - can you make out the thumbs down??). The second is from last night - 13 weeks of phase 1 and 41.8 lbs down! If that's not motivation to continue, I don't know what is! Happy Monday!
Impressive loss AND great job staying ON PLAN. Given the Giants performance, I may have wanted to drink- ha ha!
