I agree with Artemis, mix the fruit flavors with extra water, I even use 1/2 still and 1/2 sparkling sometimes. I dilute the Sparkling ice with club soda. I really don't like things too sweet. Also, try HOT lemon water once or twice a day.
You probably should try to get used to drinking water plain. I don't add anything to my water until I've had my 96oz of plain. You just have to get used to carrying a bottle around with you everywhere. |
You may also want to consider "true lemon". Its a lot cheaper than lemons and its delicious with seltzer water..

Water enhancer are good to use on the IP..as well as the Ice water...very flavorful... But I also bought electrolyte tablets called NUUN...and they are very refreshing while giving you electrolytes ... Also plain water with lemon is another flavorful drink..
Good luck |
Thank you all for the wonderful tips! I am writing them down for my next run to the grocery store!

Agree with the cucumber water! Just slice up a good amount of cucumber and add to water and voila! Very mild, crisp flavor. MMM!
I'm an ice tea drinker (here in Canada they add sugar to our ice teas) and it happens to be one of my vices. I'm going to have to pick up some Lemon Zinger and try that! The cruise I was just on happened to serve non-sugar iced tea and I did enjoy it once I got used to it. |

SweetScrumptious, down south, here in Mississippi, sweet tea is a staple. My teenage son goes through a gallon in two days. I do love it, but I have learned that I really like green tea also. I was drinking the Lipton Green Tea with lemon, but I need to check and see if it has aspartame. Regardless, I need to just be patient and adjust to the water consumption. I will get there, I am determined!

I second the recommendation for True Lemon and True Lime. They are little packets of dried lemon and lime and each pack is equivalent to one lemon or lime slice. They are 0/0/0 and absolutely delicious. You can buy them at health food stores or Safeway, and they are around $4-5 for a box of 40. I use them all day everyday, one packet for 750ml of water, and it makes the water go down so much easier.

One packet usually lasts me thru 3 - 23 oz bottles of water. But thanks, I didn't know there was caffeine in it! :o |
I could be wrong, but I don't believe the IP Mangosteen water enhancer has caffeine.
The ingredients are citric acid, sodium citrate, natural flavors, sucralose, potassium phosphate, malic acid, red cabbage color and silicon dioxide. |
It doesn't list caffeine on the box. Maybe she is talking about a different drink?
My coach said I could use as much as I wanted throughout the day.. instead of the crystal light I had been using.. |
