I hit 26 down this week, so I am very happy.

Wonder if I can do another 20 by Halloween?

Congrats to everyone!

I hit 24 yesterday so only 1 pound needed for this week! I didn't think I would make it, in the middle of the challenge my losses were very slow. Good luck everyone!

Hi All: I'd love to join your thread / challenge - 25 lbs' by Halloween! :witch:

Honestly, I didn't think it was possible to even get close to this goal when I started on Aug-18 so, I would always skip over this thread (regretfully). But now, having lost 15.4lbs in 25 days, I think it's feasible and I want to challenge myself. Especially because, candy / sugar is my major weakness it will be great to say NO to all the candy that will be available at work.. I never used to pass by a candy bowl without at least taking one piece (or two). Since having started IP and getting through the first week, I feel more in control and confident over my food choices. I can say 'No', not only that but I have no cravings. I just have to simply make sure that I'm armed with my food and try to eat every 4hrs and then I won't get into trouble.

So.. I'm IN THIS with you guys - 25 by Halloween; I'll take it!

Good luck everyone and thanks for letting me join your challenge ~ Good Luck to All :ghost: Mwahaha!

OMG you guys rock! You all are keeping me OP though this incredibly frustrating stall. (Ya...I'm in a mood today...no biotching about stalls unless you've sat there for at least a month ON PLAN!)

By Halloween last year, the candy just looked and smelled gross!

I made it by .2lbs for the fall challenge and I am 2lbs from 100lbs gone! Going to keep going to chart where I will be for Halloween.
What an awesome birthday gift to me. Turned 45 yesterday.. I am no longer thinking of how I missed some cake yesterday.. but how great getting to goal will be.

Happy belated birthday and congrats on the almost 100lbs - that's amazing! And I am one whole week older than you - it was my birthday on the 9th and I turned 45 too! :D

Sarita: Way to go! I have to tell you, you have done fabulously! I have worked in the same field as you for nearly 25 years and staying OP with all the stress that comes with the job is no mean feat!

And everyone - what a great job! Congrats to everyone who is participating - we are a great bunch of shrinkers!

Thanks Ruth Ann! This has been my first true diet plan and I have been determined to get 'er down and get into maintenance. :) I have actually found that the diet is helpful with my work as I go out to eat less, etc. The only thing that has been hard is my WI days when I leave work for about 1.25 hours. Alas.

And congrats again to all!

I was already used to eating at my desk since I never seem to have time to actually go get something or sit down and eat lunch so that helped, but I do try to put the big bowl of lettuce I keep on my desk away before clients come in!
