My new discovery is PB2. I had read about it here before, but never tried it. It is powdered PB..Initially it did not appeal to me as I am a lover of PB and almond butter. However, on the days when I am cutting back on calories and fat, it is a nice addition to yogurt. It is only 45 calories for 2 T verses 200 calories of P B and only has 1.5 grams of fat.
I will definitely check out that book! Originally Posted by Maile

I bought PB2 in anticipation of P3 breakfasts. I never tried it, but DH has been adding it to his chocolate protein shake in the morning and quite likes it. I never thought of adding it to my yogurt. That's a great idea. I would think it might be nice with some banana added and perhaps some granola?
I have been reading the maintenance protocol and decided to try whole wheat pasta as my carbs at dinner with some marinara and meatballs. I was concerned it would make me sick, but it settled ok. I was completely full after 4 bites, lol. I gave the leftovers to DD to take home. I prefer how I feel after eating veggies and protein though. It is a different kind of full. In addition, I did/do feel bloated now. Just reinforces that I should limit wheat, or get rid of it altogether.
It snowed again during the night. Just a small amount, but it is cold outside and dreary. I love Fall but hate when it begins to get grey and cold out. I think we may be in for a long winter in ND.
Back to work I go.
