Default I Peed on a Stick!
Hello everyone. I'm new here, although I've lurked a bit, and on day 8 of Ideal Protein. I used a ketone test strip yesterday and I'm in ketosis! For some reason, that thrilled me to bits! Oddly enough, this is not something one can share in the great wide world, so I figured I'd get my feet wet (no pun intended!) here at this forum with this news. I go for my first weigh in tomorrow.

Don't you just love seeing the pink?! I find using the strips to be a great means of positive reinforcement, and they help me stay off the scale until my weekly weigh in. Do keep in mind that the goal is simply to see pink -- your either in K or not, and the shade of pink doesn't necessarily mean you're eating "better" or "worse." As I read somewhere on this site -- it's like being pregnant; either you are or you aren't; there's no such thing as a little or a lot. Welcome and best of luck!
