Thanks for posting this! So- I'm using EAS 100% whey. It has 7g carbs per serving, and 150 calories. EAS qualifies as an alternative? I just want to be sure. I've been doing really well following the plan and want to be sure I'm not wasting my time. Any input is appreciated.

The EAS 100% Whey is ok to use - but the EAS Carb AdvantEDGE line is a much better choice. The 100% Whey is much higher in calories (closer in calorie count to an IP bar than a shake) and while the 7g carbs make it unrestricted, it's also higher in carbs than the IP shakes. The Carb AdvantEDGE products have 110 calories and 3g carbs, almost identical to the IP shakes.

Thank you! I suspected as much. I looked in to NOW Foods egg white protein, and I am going to have one of he EAS shakes a day, and the rest NOW Egg white protein shakes. Hopefully that will balance it out a bit, and all that won't go to waste. I could always save it until I hit the next phase. It keeps for a good while.
