Default Changes to bodyshapre & fit of clothes due to IP?

I'm curious if the IP program changes the shape of your body at all (other than weight loss making it smaller) due to the way that the program works within your body.

For those that have lost some/a lot of weight, have you found that you are fitting into different size clothes or having clothes fit you differently from when you were last "thin"? For example, if you weighed 150 before and wore a size 14 and now that you've returned to that weight, you find that you're wearing a size 10.

I know that this can depend on so many different factors, but still curious to hear from others. Anticipating end results to keep my mind focused on the goal!

I have noticed that I am definitely losing weight in different areas than I ever have before. I'm wearing clothes that I wore 20 years ago when I was around 180 that fit as well or better than they did then. Also this is the first time I've lost a substantial amount of weight where my face didn't immediately hollow out first causing me to look sick.

I have noticed that as well. I am still 10 lbs from my goal weight, and former weight, but wearing a smaller size. My body shape has changed quite a bit for the better, I have always had an hourglass shape, now it seems more compact.

I definitely noticed a difference. Before having kids, I was about 165 and a comfortable size 12. Seven years later, post-IP I am only 5-10lbs smaller (I hover between 155 and 160) but fitting comfortably in size 8's! I had previously kept my pre-baby jeans and clothes, just had to give them all away because they are TOO BIG.

In my 20s I was the same size at 135.
I do exercise a lot.

I think the 4 kids and 4 C Sections changed my body so much I don't know how much of the change is due to IP or that! lol

I will say I weigh less than I did when I got married (about 20 lb less) and my weddng ring just barely fits.

I am noticing I am fitting into clothes much differently and at a higher weight. I am definitely in between pant sizes.

I too am in a size now that fit when I weighed less...I'm in a 14 (baggy) now at 210, the last time they fit I was 190. Should be interesting to see what I'll be in when I hit goal at 160, in my mind I'd love to be an 8

Even when I was at my smallest, I still wore a medium top and large pants. I just bought new t-shirts that are smalls and I still have 23 lbs to go! I think it's partly the weight coming off "better" and also partly vanity sizing.

I think vanity sizing does play a part, and I know now that I am older, my body is naturally changing shape too. IP can play a part too though, along with exercise, etc.; I'm not discounting any of that.

I agree completely about vanity sizing! It's very hard for me to compare to sizes I wore more than twenty years ago. That said I know I used to have more of a butt than I do now.

I had thought vanity sizing too...but I actually KEPT the jeans I used to wear the last time I was thinner, almost 10 years ago. Those size 12's that were well-fitting at 165lbs now HANG on me, and I had to get rid of them. At 155-160 I am solidly in a size 8/10. Though I did buy a dress that has a TAG that says it's a size 6...which I would say is most definitely vanity sizing

Yeah, like I said, my butt is definitely smaller but I think my waist is probably larger - although in my case I have no way to actually tell. Too bad I don't have actual measurements from back when I was this weight the last time.
