day 2 please tell me it gets better...
 
my head hurts, I'm starving and I want to sleep...will this pass???

although I must say I had the broccoli and cheese soup and added cauliflower to it and it was so good!!

Day two is the toughest. You should start feeling a little bit better tomorrow and even better the day after that. Every day you should feel less hungry and more energized. Your body is detoxing, it will pass, i promise!!!

You can do it! You can do it! Just think of it as your body getting rid of all those toxic things you used to eat so it can start working right!

I slept most of day's 1 & 2 and worked on day 3. I had to leave early I felt aweful.

The good news is you should start feeling better on day 4 or 5, but you will feel fantastic after stepping on the scale for your first way in.

Hang in there...the results are worth it!

I totally can relate. I promise the results are worth it and the crap-tastic feeling will pass. My second day i was SO MISERABLE to everyone i came in contact with. All i could think about was getting home and laying in bed. These first few days are super tough, but once you get into ketosis, your body gets into a groove with the diet and you start to feel really good. Hang in there! :D

The first week is Really the hardest.
Try to find something that distracts you or engages you a New hobby or project and throw yourself into that .
That's what has help me along the way.

Yes - it gets way better. Next week, you'll actually be feeling really good with lots of extra energy ...

Try some nice hot herbal tea in the meantime, helps with a lot of the symptoms!

You just have 1 or 2 more days to get over that first hump!

Day 2 was my worst day...I felt like I had a really bad hangover. Day 3 I felt good, since then I've felt great.

I found that salt helped my headache and energy level. Mix 1/4 to 1/2 tsp in 8 oz water and drink. Yummy, huh! I added a little MIO to the water to make it go down easier. It basically tasted like strong gatorade. But, it worked and worked quickly! You can also put a little salt in the palm of your hand and lick it. People who see you do this may think you're a little odd, but if it makes you feel better who cares!!

Another option--my coach told me to carry a packet of IP chocolate soy puffs with me at all times. If I felt like crap, he said to eat a small handful of the puffs. Not the whole packet, just a few. I never got to the point that I needed to do that, but it was nice to know it was an option.

It definitely gets better. Day 2 was the worst. I was supposed to be in an all-day training but left at lunch time and went to bed. HORRIBLE headache, nausea, total misery. Day 3 was just a little residual headache (salt helped). Since then, I have felt so good.

I've seen so many similar stories on here, so I know it's not just me. It will get better!
