Default Holy Keto Flu, Batman!

Today was day two; I am MISERABLE. My head feels like I just puked for two hours straight. The fatigue is kaboom.

Anyone find anything that helped?

I drank 100oz of water, ate IP to a T, including supplements & Ideal Salt. I know a lot of it is toughing it out but if something on plan helped I'm all ears. I wish I could sleep for two days but I have a 19 month old and a 3 year old.

Hire a babysitter and take a nap! It will pass and hopefully you will feel fabulous. I was lucky and didn't have withdrawals, but in reading here, it will be better in a few days.

Try doing the salt directly from your hand followed by a big glass of water - helped my headaches a bunch. Also, remember the first week or so you can do an extra packet if you need it, don't be afraid to do so.

Hang in there, the first few days are rough but it really does get better pretty fast.

Thanks for sharing the tip about the salt, Ruth Ann. I was feeling terrible last night (day two) but much better this morning. If anything, I just feel a bit foggy in the afternoon but fine once I eat dinner. Day 3 - here we go!

I upped the salt and that helped so much!

You will feel better by day 4. I'm on day 8 and still have moments of weakness but feel substantially better than last week.

Keep up the great work, ladies! The first few days can be a challenge, but for me serve as a reminder to stay 100% on program (don't want to go through that again having to restart)!

Herbal tea also helps; I still enjoy it daily.

Amazing, isn't it?
Low carb diets are diuretic and can rob us of salt (and potassium and other stuff!)
