Me too! I really enjoy it. I actually just found some coupons off ebay for Pure Protein products (bars, RTD, powders) $1 and $2 off. When I get them, I am going to stock up!
  • Hi Ladies,
I am new to this site. I just bought alternative and am very nervous. I bought pure protein chocolate drink and don't like it. Are you mixing with water? What vitamins are you using? I think I'm going to take my IP vitamins to GNC and see if they can find an alternative.
    Any help would be great.

If you are buying powdered drink mixes, water is pretty much the only thing you can mix it with on IP, or black coffee. Some of the shake mixes suggest that you mix with milk, and mixing with water would give it a thinner consistency and taste. Try using a little less water - that's what I do with Syntrax drink mixes, 8oz water makes them too thin for my taste but 6-7 oz works well for me.
  • My wife and I just started on 1/2/13 and have been having two Proti-Diet chocolate shakes each day. They are really good and available from NashuaNutrition.
  • My ProtiDiet order came in on Friday, and i LOVE their chocolate drink! So happy you guys turned me on to ProtiDiet. Their hot chocolate, blueberry pancakes and chocolate drink are great!
  • I am considering purchasing some of the Plain Protein drinks from the link that I saw in this thread earlier...similar to Ideal Protein but less costly.

BrittStar027 - what are some other flavors that you enjoyed from that website? I'd love to hear more before I purchase some.
  • I too was a big fan of IP rtd chocolate. I like Cytosport's Muscle Milk Lite & Muscle milk sugar free. They are similar to one another but the sugar free is most like IP both in taste and macronutrient profile. I think you can get them pretty cheaply at Vitacost.com, also Vitamin Shoppe, GNC, and I've been seeing them at big chain grocery & pharmacies. Here on the west coast, that would be Safeway & Rite Aid, maybe CVS. The vanilla flavor is good, too.
  • Quote: I use the Pure Protein Chocolate Frosty as a more affordable shake mix. It is lower in carbs than the IP and does not count as restricted. It's really good. 25g of Protein, 3g carbs. The vanilla one from Pure Protein I didn't like but I use the chocolate almost every day!

I have also ordered genuine IP products from www.plainprotein.com
If you wanted to try official check out joining Ideal-to-go (much cheaper than a clinic and they sell the WF products!)

Hope this helps!!!! You can do it
You can no longer get IP products on line.
  • I think the premier protein drinks are almost exactly the same in flavor and consistency. And... $24.99 for 18 at Costco!
