  • Tonight was our Company Holiday Party. Of course a lot of the food we couldn't eat because it was Italian, but we didn't care and got through it by eating plain salad with some veggies and a snack bar.

    But the greatest thing? I bought this SUPER cute dress 2 years ago thinking it would fit me, it was a 22/24 but it was just too clingy and showed too many bumps for me. So I put it away, sad I couldn't wear it.

    Well this year once I started IP I decided I wanted to be able to fit into that dress for THIS years Holiday Party.

    In 4 weeks I lost almost 25 lbs and FIT into the dress! I tried it on with just my normal undergarments and saw NO bumps! I did put a few sucker inner undies and tights on, but for once when I sat down I was not pulling on it all night!

    AND I didn't care who took my picture when! Below is a picture of me in the dress! Of course tons of people made me spin around in it an compliment that I was looking great!

  • Thank you everyone! It was a GREAT night! And today I am wearing a XXL shirt instead of an XXXL.... and without having to stretch it too much Still in the chest area a bit because it's a guys shirt!

    And no we have just been following the IP diet exactly as it's written with restricted foods once a day, I even had 1 extra serving of restricted veggies 2 of the weeks (without thinking)

    There are some nights I don't have my snack, but hubby almost always eats his and has lost almost as much weight as I have.

    I even have eaten a little more than 8 oz of protein at night. But whatever we are doing is working! The nurse at our office said my 14 lbs I lost in my first week was a lot, most anyone in their office has lost.

    I just look at it as I have a good chunk of weight to lose (I want to lose 107 lbs, but even then I could go smaller) and with the kinds of stuff I was eating.... lots of carbs and bread I am not surprised with how much I have lost!
