  • Someone suggested a thread where we can share our pet pics. I'll bite! Here is me and my 9-year-old rescue dog, who rescued me from working too much. She is part chow and part border collie. I had to up the brightness on the photo because her black hair absorbed so much light that she just looked like a dark blob. OK with me because now my wrinkles don't show so much!

She has me very well trained. She doesn't run off when she goes outside because she has trained me to give her a treat every time she comes in on her own. She is also very talented in herding me to the doggie treat counter (away from the people treat counter).

Without her, I would not get my walk in every day. She is the perfect IP dog because she walks very slowly (45 min per mile) and is totally wiped out and ready for a nap after 1 mile. She is still training me to relax more and enjoy life.

  • I'm totally not on IP but I had to comment.
She's really cute, and this is an awesome story :]

Your eyes are really pretty by the way!
  • I completely understand what you mean. My babies and my husband are my support and reason for me to finally be taking better care of myself. The unconditional love of a pet can not be matched.
Here is a picture of my 3 babies. I love them so much.

Thanks, DandelionCupcakes! We had a contest to see who looks the most like their pet. I didn't win.
  • Awe, I love pet pics! Cutie pies! And it's great exercise (and you meet other dog people which is fun too).

I wish I had a dog. But alas, we have four cats and live in an apartment.

When I visit my folks I take their havanese/Maltese to the park or beach. Helps me stay on plan for sure!

MiamiCajun - I absolutely LOVE your goals; isn't that the truth! Jen
  • My cat, named Cat watching Ice Age

  • My cats are totally on board with IP because of the amount of tuna I am now eating compared to before! Now I have to feed them tuna every day even if I am not eating it or they get mad! It has made it easier to stick to eating a lot of fish since they are so enthusiastic, LOL!

Thanks Jen! The clothes are the biggest motivater for me! Never been highly into fashion but I was always super emotional going clothes shopping since nothing ever fit and then I had to pay high prices for things I didn't like anyways! Best wishes to you!

Alison, I've been eating tons of tilapia and hadn't really thought about canned Tuna, I'm going to try it. So sweet your kitties help you stay OP by lovingly reminding you it's food time!
