Howdy!

  • Hi! I'm 12 days in on IP and am "enjoying" it so far.. as much as one can enjoy packaged foods ;-)

I previously lost 40 lbs on Atkins and kept it off, and decided after maintaining that weight for a year and a half to give this a go.

My dad and his wife both had great success on this WOE.

I have 21 lbs left to go (down 7 already) so am looking for motivation and encouragement from you ladies and gents that are veterans of the program.

hope everyone is having a good day!

  • way to go on losing 7 lbs!!!!! that is awesome!! sounds like you are well on your way to kicking that 21 pounds left to the curb for good!! keep it up!!
  • Good luck! You have done great so far. Those 21 lbs will be gone in no time. People on this board respond more if you post in the daily chat. So, don't be discouraged with the lack of replies here
  • HOWDY Nooey! Keep up the great work. I have been on it for the past month and really like the program. I have a long way to go but have faith in myself that I will get to my goal. You are inspiring! so glad to hear from someone who has kept their weight off
  • Sorry but what is the IP diet? Im new here and dont know any of the abbreviations yet.
  • Howdy back!
Today is day 15 for me and I'm down 8lbs on the program. When I decided to start on a Wednesday night I cut sugar out immediately. I lost 6lbs in 5 days just by going cold turkey with sugar! I consider my total loss to be 14 lbs- I'm owning it no matter how I did it.

I will be 40 in December and I want to be healthy. I have a high profile job and I want to feel better about myself and my weight is a huge part of it.

I'm glad you're starting and congrats for keeping the weight off for over a year- that's a HUGE success!!!

    GOOD LUCK!

    Niki
