  • Quote: I have 20 more to go and now it has slowed right down to a pound a week. Which is better than nothing or a gain, but it makes it sooooo hard not to cheat. This is going to test my patience and faith in the program. But I know that it will come off eventually...I just might be doing this past Christmas sigh. My goal was to be done for my bday on christmas eve.

My coach gave me a plan last night to try and switch things up, cut my restricted items to 3 times a week. On the days I don't have a restricted item, eat an egg with my IP packet in the morning. We'll see how next weigh in is.
MY BIRTHDAY IS CHRISTMAS EVE TOO!! Too funny! And it's my 50th - UGH! My goal is to be 110 by then (actually I want to be on Phase 4 by then), so hopefully that's doable - 5.5 pounds.

Keep at it - you will get there!!!

My birthday is on December 23 and I am hoping to be phased off by then. The greatest bday gift would be maintenance. WE CAN DO IT!!!

LOVE IT AND YES WE CAN!!!! Maybe I should start a maintenance by Christmas thread!!
  • Hey, dont worry. i had .8 ounce weight loss one week. its because we are hormonal during 1 week a month and thts why the loss might be slow, hang in there your loss will expedite .
    good luck
  • I actually had a one pound gain last week. I was "paid back" with a 5 lb loss this week. So, don't worry. Congratulations on your loss. You are going DOWN!
  • Slow2lose, I understand your frustration! I had a somewhat disappointing WI yesterday, and no matter how much we tell ourselves otherwise, it's impossible not to feel a little deflated.

Remind yourself that the weekly weigh-in is one snapshot in time, and there's at least half a million things that can affect it. I swear, if you exhale and get back on the scale, your weight will be different! So take that "snapshot" with a grain of salt.

My home scale is usually 2 pounds different than the clinic, but that varies sometimes, too . . . all of which reminds me a number is just a number. Watch the body fat percentage and the inches - I think they're a more reliable indicator of where you're at!
  • Last week it was -1.5 so that's OK.
