So 5 days in Vegas, surrounded by wonderful, gourmet food and I made it!!! 100% OP!!!! I was so worried about this trip, and it was so hard, but how proud I am to have stuck to my guns. I had to pack my IP goodie bag, and it took a lot of planning, but it goes to show that it can be done. Now, onto my next trip next week....with less worry this time. I've stayed perfectly OP since start date, and plan on staying that way. Thanks for your support on this forum, I have to refer to the awesome comments regularly . Have a great evening everyone!!
Lose2Win - Good for you! I'm so proud of you! I can only imagine how tempting some of those foods were, but like Wuv has said before (regarding Thanksgiving) it's not like you haven't had those foods in the past and there will always be NEXT time you go to Las Vegas (when you're on maintenance). Now, having this tremendous success "under your belt" will make the next time and the time after that even easier. It really is about a mindset! Keep up the great job! Jen

You give me hope for my New Year's trip to Vegas! Could you share with us your food plan/what you packed?

Thx everyone
Sure. I packed my supplements, salt, some Mio, my own olive oil, measuring spoons, and the Thousand Island Walden Farms dressing. Each morning I had a Vanilla RTD. For lunch, I had the chocolate RTD (so easy and travels so well, plus I like them, so bonus) and my two cups of veggies depending on where we were. I had to mention "no butter". Dinner was so tempting out and about, but I stuck to my protein cooked dry, with olive oil and lemon wedges on the side, plus my two cups steamed veggies. I took my favorite restricted (peanut butter crunch bar) each evening for a snack, so I didn't feel too deprived. It is doable....just have to look away from the other grub
Way to go! I am glad to hear it went well for you, I smiled when I read your mini goal Lose2Win...me too. Thanks for posting what you did eat, as travel season/holidays will be interesting!
OMG. I am so glad that I read this. We just booked our trip to Vegas for New Years, and I am stressed out. Where and What am I going to eat.
I don't have a problem with the IP packs. I just don't know where to eat for the Vegtables & dinner.
