When I first started IP, my goal was to get below 200 pounds. I hadn't been able to achieve that on WW, so I was thrilled when I got there. I then decided to try for another 25. When I reached that, I thought--what's another 25? This seem to be working!
So I am now at what I had thought might be my last goal, but I realized that if I lose another 7 pounds, I can claim a 100 pound loss! It seems so close that I can't resist. I am losing slower than when I started--probably around one pound per week now.
My coach had suggested at one point that I might consider a 10 pound range and allow myself to "float." When I get close to the top, get back on the program for a couple of weeks to get things under control. I am thinking of having my "float zone" be in the 140 to 150 range. I really don't want to weigh any more than I do right now at 150. I feel good, I have accumulated a bit of a wardrobe that fits, and it seems a good weight for me.
Have any of you fiddled with your goal weight or allowed yourself a "float zone?" I'm interested to hear how you made your decision and how it's working for you! Thanks!
