  • Good morning everyone. Hope you all have a wonderfull hump day.
  • Good early morning in Colorado to all,
Having black coffee and reading through the forum before I get ready for work. I am so excited that I have lost 8 pounds in 4 days on IP. My first time on IP, I weighed 224 and lost 6 pounds my first week (I think I was using too much EVOO). Anyway, it's inspiring and I wish everyone a good day on IP!

  • GOOD MORNiNG EVERYONE!!

    REMEMBER TO AiM HiGH!!!

  • Good morning all.
12 year old is home with stomach bug, and I am afraid i might be getting it too. (Aches, upset stomach, etc.) Trying to talk myself into eating something-and i hope to keep it down. Or do you think i should try to 'fast' through it?

Day 5 of phase 2- seem to actually be up a pound or so in weight- but maybe that's because i am sick or maybe TOM of month is creeping up? (I never know when to expect it anymore.)

Hopefully son will sleep most of the day. I d0n't need to leave the house except for a night yoga class -who knows if I will make that.

Have a great autumn day- it's beautiful in CT>

I think if your body is telling you not to eat, maybe it is best not to. Hope you and your son feel better.

Nice job! Where in Colorado are you? I grew up in Northglenn, many fond memories out there

Ugh - hope you feel better soon. I wouldn't try to fast, your body still needs some nourishment. If you are afraid of getting sick and "wasting" packets, maybe try 2 scrambled egg whites and see if that stays down.

WI Wednesday today! I wasn't expecting much this week, TOM arrived on Friday and hasn't left yet. BUUUUT I'm down another 1.6 pounds and lost another inch! The bigger news for me was my BMI though - when I started IP I had a BMI of 34.5, well into the "obese" category. As of today, I'm down to 30.9 - I should be completely out of "obese" in the next week or so!!!

Hope everyone has a fantastic OP day, I'm doing laundry with the little while the bigger is at school. Realized yesterday that I have to suddenly account for a lot more walking - it's a half mile to the bigger's school and I walk there and back twice a day, four times a week now. That's 2 miles a day more than I was walking before. So I've definitely got to add a packet/EAS drink after the afternoon pickup. Hoping the extra exercise doesn't stall me too much!
  • Today's Quote is a little Poem I found:

    Don't Quit

When you've eaten too much and you can't write it down,
And you feel like the biggest failure in town.
When you want to give up just because you gave in,
and forget all about being healthy and thin.
So What! You went over your points a bit,
It's your next move that counts...So don't you quit!
It's a moment of truth, it's an attitude change.
It's learning the skills to get back in your range.
It's telling yourself, "You've done great up till now.
You can take on this challenge and beat it somehow."
It's part of your journey toward reaching your goal.
You're still gonna make it, just stay in control.
To stumble and fall is not a disgrace,
If you summon the will to get back in the race.
But, often the struggler's, when loosing their grip,
Just throw in the towel and continue to slip.
And learn too late when the damage is done,
that the race wasn't over...they still could have won.
Lifestyle change can be awkward and slow,
but facing each challenge will help you grow.
Success is failure turned inside out,
the silver tint in a cloud of doubt.
When you're pushing to the brink, just refuse to submit,
If you bite it, you write it....But don't you quit!

  • I'm starting to get a little irritated with the way my body has decided to release the fat. I think so far it is mostly my face, chest and butt. Losing 31 lbs I should be down about 2 sizes, but it's only 1 because my waist isn't keeping up with my butt.

All my pants have a saggy bottom, because my butt completely deflated. My chest decided to do the same, which I don't mind as much because bra's are easier to fit than pants.

I'm thrilled with the weight loss so far, but can't wait for it to even out on my body!

Ohhh, congrats, congrats, congrats! I'm so very happy for you and your lower BMI! I can't wait to get there. What a great WI!
  • Good morning all! I'm looking forward to my weigh-in tomorrow as I end my fourth week, I think it's gonna be a good one. Have a great day
