The Last 25 IPeeps

No matter where you started, if you are in your last 25 pounds to go, join me here!!! (my scale said this morning I'm there, tomorrow's WI may say different!). Let's keep each other 100% OP, positive, healthy and on track.

When I see my son and DIL at Christmas I am going to look fantastic! ;) no matter where i am in my loss. The last time I saw them was 2 days before I took the IP plunge.

Hgamroth 09-09-2012 12:57 PM

My goal is to lose the last 25 by December! I feel it is doable yet so scary. I can't believe I have made it this far and lost 55 pounds. I would LOVE to be in phase 4 or maintenance on my birthday on December 23.

Mom2Carter 09-10-2012 03:56 PM

I'm with you! For some reason these last 12 or so pounds are the hardest to lose. I was 100% OP but in the last couple of weeks I have been having slip-ups - some small and some major. Time to get with it!

Momto2cs 09-10-2012 04:15 PM

The closer to goal you are the harder it is to stay focused! Stick to it! You will be happy you didi!

jules26965 09-10-2012 05:14 PM

What about the last 10lbs? Can I still join you? :)

Momto2cs, do you think it's just a matter of focus (I know I have more trouble with that now) or do you think there's something more physiological about the body not dropping weight once you're in a healthy BMI range (even if it's the top)?

Lizzy63 09-10-2012 07:18 PM

Count me in - as of today I've got 23.75 to go!! It would be so nice to be phasing off by Thanksgiving!

mommyskinny 09-10-2012 10:44 PM

me me me too! I may go a little further when I hit 25lbs, but 150 is my original goal and I am at 172 today. Wooooohooo!

fitgirl2012 09-10-2012 10:49 PM

Sounds great! I have a little less than 20 to lose. :-). Let's do this!!!!

Big Daddy 09-11-2012 06:31 AM

hit mine this morning. this last 25 will put me down 100 over all.

dizzyjean 09-11-2012 07:33 AM

I have 19.25 to go. I'm in! I am going to rock this thing to the end! Could not be happy to do it with another group of folks!

Great Dane 09-11-2012 12:56 PM

My yesterday WI put me NOT on my last 25, so I can't join my own club for another week ;-) Only kidding!!!

I have 12+ left to go hoping by halloween i can have a cheat day !! got the whole 8,000 + calories planned out ! i'm sure i'll be sick for a week
Week 7 completed 37 pounds down, easing off the restricted items to see if that helps ( it did this week)

8000+ calories!!!!! You will be sick! :)

I'm wanting to stay on through Halloween so that I avoid my kids' candy. :) Hope my plan works this year!

knm 09-11-2012 01:38 PM

This is exactly the thread I needed. I was at about 8 lbs to go, and then decided I deserved a cheat day. That cheat day turned into a cheat weekend. Eventually got back on track and lost what I had gained... unfortunately I couldn't get passed that 8 lbs to go mark. Had another cheat day which turned not only into a cheat weekend, but a cheat week. Now I'm up to about 10 lbs to go.

I lost the first 14 lbs in about 5 weeks, and these last 8 lbs just seem to be stuck on me! I need motivation to stick with this, but I'm finding it very difficult. I understand that the last few pounds take the longest, but I'm feeling so defeated! I have a trip planned to Florida October 8th and would love to be at my goal weight by then, but I'm not feeling too confident in that goal.

Anyone have any advise how they got through or are getting through their last few pounds?

mompalm 09-11-2012 01:46 PM

What a great idea for a thread! I have 9 more lbs to go and the past couple of weeks I feel like I have been at war with myself! I did great - no cheats until I got to the last 13 lbs. Now I keep cheating here and there, more and more. Then I do real well for a few days and next thing you know....

It has indeed been more difficult to stay focused with these last few lbs., but let's not lose sight of our goal when it's so close!

Haha thank you :) I like this place too as I think that these last pounds are harder than the others (so far...maybe I'm wrong)

I know what you mean about war with yourself mentally. For the first time in a while I don't "feel fat" and am fairly comfortable in my skin. I still want this last 10 (really 12 from my scale, I don't WI at the clinic til next week) to feel even better and then set my maintenance range at 135-140, but there isn't the same drive and need that there was 20 or 30 lbs ago.

It also doesn't help that my DH told me yesterday that he doesn't think I need to lose any more weight....I think he just doesn't want my boobs shrinking anymore:o:o

Yes it is pretty bad when I go from an A cup to a nothing cup when I lose any weight. So far my visible weight loss (to me at least) has been my boobs and the chunky part of me right under them.

Hotpink88 09-11-2012 04:54 PM

I'm in!! I got 29.2 lift to go...

mammoth357 09-11-2012 05:22 PM

Just saying Hi ...and wishing all you "light-weights" good luck and a strong finish! I am not on the final 25 lbs yet but getting there. I lost over 100lbs on atkins and then stalled for 3-4 months...started IP July 3rd and dropped what you see below....my goal was 240 but as I lowered it to 225 I will join you all next week I hope!
Cheers to all!
Jake

ChileheadKen 09-11-2012 11:03 PM

25 to go according to my coach's scale and 23 according to my scales! always 2 lbs difference! so I can't cheat now! too close to the prize!! hope to be done by thanksgiving!!
:flame:

DanafromAustin 09-12-2012 12:27 AM

Well I wasn't going to join you for another 5 pounds yet because I thought I wanted to lose 30 more, but my Dr. advised me to keep my weight loss at another 20 pounds instead...so here I am. I CAN'T believe only 20 will do it, but two different Dr.'s have said the same thing, and 20 feels about right.:carrot:

IPdivajen 09-12-2012 10:19 AM

I've got 31 more to go - can't wait to be in this territory officially!

Believe it or not, but my husband wanted me to lose some boob, when I gained weight, a LOT went there, lol. I have right around 25 lbs. more to go, and it has been verrry slow going, but it's still going down which is what matters:D

barri1970 09-14-2012 12:33 PM

I have about 12 more to go and I have seemed to lose all motivation! I know I can do it and it wont take much longer but more and more I am finding myself thinking of having a drink or two and eating out again...enjoying myself!

I am really trying to keep focused but it is even harder because my coach is about half my age and she cancels my appointments all the time because she decides not to come to work or has someplace else to go. I started with a coach to keep me accountable but when she cancels on me all the time it makes it that much harder.

I just want it to be done and over already so I can move on to the next phase!

Mom3LoveBugs 09-14-2012 12:55 PM

hey everyone!

I'm so happy to find this thread. I have been gaining and losing the same 10 lbs over and over.

150 lbs is my happy weight (I am 154 right now) but I would love to be 145 lbs so that means 9 lbs to go.

I am having a 'Mommy Makeover' on October 18th and I am working my tail off to be in the best shape possible to ensure a smoother recovery.

:)

Lizzy63 09-15-2012 09:27 AM

I can't believe I had to go all the way to the second page to find this thread this morning!! So, here is goes back to the top! Let's stick together and stay motivated...

I see several comments on losses in the boobs. For me that is definitely not a problem - hubby hasn't complained and I am looking forward to not having to shop at places that make clothes especially for the well-endowed. Oh, and it would be nice to buy a bra at a regular department store... I am looking forward to getting things more in proportion so that I can wear the same size in the top and bottom!

IP43 09-15-2012 02:36 PM

I'm in too! My original goal is only 9 pounds away but I'm gonna lose a bit more...just don't know if I should go to phase 2 to do that. Do you still lose on Phase 2 or should I stay P1 for a bit more if I want to lose another 20 or so??

Ticiabean 09-15-2012 04:07 PM

14 pounds until I meet my original goal of 145!!!! :carrot:

I might decide to go about 5 pounds further and change my goal to 140. But I'm trying to stay focused....I'm so close!!!!!!!

fitgirl2012 09-15-2012 04:09 PM

Well, I lost 2.6 lbs, & 1.5 inches this past week! My coach says that I should be getting to goal in a few weeks; however, I think that it will take me till mid November. I guess we'll see! I'm looking forward to those breakfasts & reintroducing my workouts! Coach says that muscle development occurs quickly in phase 3..

I hope Everyone else has had some losses this past week, too! Here's to staying OP! :)

I would stay on phase 2 until you've lost all of your weight. Others have said that it's sooo much easier to lose on phase 1 than the others.

fitgirl2012 09-15-2012 04:12 PM

Thanks Lizzy for bringing this thread back up!

Ticiabean...you are sooo close...let's all stay focused! :-)

Great Dane 09-17-2012 01:43 PM

I'm looking forward to my WI this afternoon. I "think" it should get me in the 25 left to lose club. This weekend on my Costco trip I bought a pair of black Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans - the ones with a little stretch in them to flatter (ha ha) my chunky areas. I'm keeping them even though there seems to be a lot of loose fabric just south of my bum!!! Look great from the front and sides. So if I need a pair of dress up jeans, these are it! (this is about as dressy as it gets in this burg). When this size gets too big I'll know I can almost fit in the sleeveless dress I wore to my son's graduation in 2011. I'm looking forward to that too!

Mandi85 09-17-2012 01:49 PM

My range per the clinic is 117-139. Currently at 130! Gonna go for 120. The husband still has about 30 pounds. We are phasing of Nov 1st to go through the steps correctly, then honeymoon in December!

Lizzy63 09-19-2012 08:18 PM

Wow! Found this thread all the way down on page 4. After yesterday's weigh in, I'm down to my last 21!!! :)

paulfromport 09-20-2012 08:52 AM

I feel frustrated with the final 12 lb. - totally OP and marginally losing... i know don't complain, however it is difficult to deal with having a date in your head ( for a real breakfast) and keep dleaying.... i have learned alot in these 8 weeks, ( and for those of you doing this for 50 or 70 weeks WOW ) Well I will keep plugging.......Cheers all

fitgirl2012 09-20-2012 01:16 PM

Good afternoon! My WI showed a 1.6 lb loss. It must of happend overnight, because yesterday I had a 0 loss for the week! So needless to say...very happy with the 1.6.

Mandi - only 10 to go...you'll be there before you know it!

Lizzy - Nice loss, & welcome to the club!

Paulfromport - I think that as we get closer to our goal, our losses will become smaller. How about those inches lost, though? I bet you are losing inches! :-)

sweetsloan 09-20-2012 04:26 PM

Count me in!!! :carrot:

sonyainva 10-25-2012 08:58 AM

As of today 21 more pounds to go!!

Final stretch, so excited. I have not worked out in the last 4 weeks that I have done IP. I am "saving" it for the last few pounds.

Only 21 more to go!!!:carrot:

glomor 10-25-2012 12:24 PM

I have adjusted my goal weight several times. Right now I'm shooting for another 7 pounds to 140 which will take me over 100 pounds lost! That seems like something to brag about! :) Then I will have a bit of a float between 140 and 150. I am a solid size 14 right now, with a few size 16s and 12s depending on the brand. I feel really good at this weight. :carrot:

I was thrilled recently to buy a couple of dresses for special occasions! I had not worn a dress in years because I hated the way I looked.

It has been a bit difficult to stay motivated to lose these last few pounds. I feel so good right now that sometimes I feel like I should just let that goal go and be happy with where I'm at. But another part of me would just like to get there, even if it's slow going. Soooo, I'm in!

You are inspiring, losing a 100, keep going, you are almost at the finish line.

You got this

sonyainva 11-07-2012 06:24 AM

Still about 20 to go.

Going to be 100% OP from today. thanks to all of rainbow's recipes.

love zucchini chips.

it is hard to stay motivated for the last 20, but here i am so. truly motivated.

i am one of those people who gains easily, so i need to be where i want to be so when that tummy poofs up i will know to go back to phase 1

size 4 pants are loose. will wear size 2 when they are quite comfortable. i am in this till i can rock a bikini
cannot wait

most of my lose now should be from abs and boobs.

20 more pounds, just crossed a huge mental barrier, went below 136.6. no more weighing daily.

all the best to all
we got this
