Good luck! If you are/were a carb-o-holic (such as myself) then the first week might be very hard, but if you push through it you will feel much better once your body adjusts. This doesn't happen to everyone, but if it happens to you, stick with it, it is definitely worth it!

Welcome!

Welcome! Nothing to be nervous about. Just stick to the protocol and you will do great. You just have to get past the first 3 days. Hopefully, they will be easy for you.

Welcome! Your nervousness must be part anxiety and excitement! Nothing to worry about -- like GoalFor40 said, the first few weeks might be difficult but as you stay longer on the diet, the more creative you'll be with your food and sooner or later you won't even miss the food you used to eat. Then once the results come-- happiness!

I had the same feelings when I started two weeks ago! Can I tell you though, this is the BEST thing that I have done aside from getting lasik surgery for my eyes! HAHAHA. Oh and I guess the girls were pretty great to...
I lost 8 the first week and 7 as of weigh in this morning! LOVE IT!! I find it SUPER easy and tasty! (once you weed out the products you may not like).
Best of luck and believe me, this is it for you!!!!!

You're gonna love it! Not the first week, but after that, you're gonna love it!

I'm new too, I just started last Friday. So far so good! It is pretty easy. I like that there is structure and specific foods but also a little flexibility for "real" food. I have already picked up some awesome ideas from this forum! (Putting WF carmel syrup in vanilla drink, heating up ground meat with taco seasonings and eating over salad).

Welcome and good luck! This is a wonderful weight loss program! I have lost 20 lbs in 4 weeks and that is the most weight I have EVER lost in 4 weeks. i am a Weight Watchers fan, but this program is so easy! Very little weighing, etc. Since our food choices are quite restricted, I find it easier to figure out what to eat. Although I have made so many "flops" on some of the recipes I have tried. I am finally discovering that I am better off just sticking with a handful of favorites and not try to pretend I like some of them. I give credit to the many many people that enjoy kale chips, zucchini chips, choc cookies made out of choc drink, etc. I have thrown away more than I care to think about. That being said....this diet truly does work and I become a fan more and more every day! Just keep an open mind, and if you do not like some of the food and recipes that people share, do not let that scare you off! Good luck!

I've spent the summer eating everything and I was a carb-o-holic like Goalfor40. (I haven't figured out how to cut and paste her post). When I saw a picture of my roundness, I decided to cut out the carbs. That's as far as I've gotten. I plan on doing the alternative protocol for IP. Still researching...

after about 3-4 weeks you will find yourself looking or creative ways to fix the same veggies.. lots of recipes out there though. I made a roasted veggie mix last night with tomatoes, zucc, onion and mushrooms that was a great diversion from the usual fare.
