Am going to make some cookies today!!!! Cookies are what I've been missing the most since being on IP. Thank you snolover!!!

I have some baking right now...

I used IP vanilla pudding, cinnamon, French vanilla syrup, and coconut extract.

I hope they come out okay!!

Mine came out "meh". Tasted like a pancake to me. I put some caramel dip on them though and let it melt. Not horrible!

Mine keep turning out the same way...not sure what I am doing wrong, but they are ok.

The pudding makes great waffles i have found, was never too crazy about them in 'baked goods' though...

A note about the Brown Sugar Splenda - it is a mix of Splenda and 'real' Brown Sugar - although you only need 1/2 the amount for the same 'sweetness' as Normal Brown Sugar. A comparison of the two:

Splenda Brown Sugar
Serving size 1/2 tsp (2g)
Calories 10
Carbs 2g
Sugar 2g

Normal Brown Sugar
Serving size 1 tsp (4g)
Calories 17
Carbs 4g
Sugar 4g

The IP pack ones are SOooo good. HOWEVER, I'm going to keep playing with the Pure Protein to see if I can make something palatable. If you DON'T have IP shakes, then go for it (you won't know the difference) but don't give up if the first batch is gross. There's gotta be a way to use that stuff as it's just so much cheaper! :?:

thank you for the warning! saved me time and money! Likely just as well, I am an addict (food!) if I baked them and liked them I would likely end up eating too many anyways....best to not start!

eliminate the water from the recipe. i tried that and they came out crispy. only add water for cake-like cookies.

Ok, thank you! I will try that. Even though dry, they give the feeling of eating like everyone else...:)

Thank you

My cousin gave me a recipe for mug cake using the Pure Protein powder. You can try this one with less water and then bake instead of microwave.

Pure Protein Cake-
1 scoop pure protein
1 tsp sugar free pudding any flavor
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp flavoring extract (optional)
water-

combine dry ingredients, add extract and enough water to make a brownie like batter.
Microwave in a large bowl for 1 minute (might need more or less depending on microwave)
This will expand like crazy, so make sure you put it in a large bowl
