I'm so excited to find this wonderfully supportive forum and see all of the AMAZING successes - WOWZERS!!!! I have chosen a start date of 8/15/12 while I wait for some online orders to arrive, and I'm ready to do this! I'll be doing this on my own using alternative products and some awesome and creative recipes I've been seeing - can't wait to try a lot of them! I've been studying all the information, and lurking in the forums for awhile to get with the program :-)

About me - I'm 46 and work full time as a graphic designer. I've got 2 beautiful little girls that are soon to be 3 and 5. Life is crazy busy, but my time has to be now to take care of myself and lose this 100+. I need to set healthy examples for my daughters, and be a healthy mom.

I'm 8 weeks into this, 34lbs lighter with another 66 to go. I'm beyond excited with the results, it definitly changed my life. I'm just starting to experiment with new recipes. I'm enjoying learning how to cook and eat all over again!

Welcome and good luck! I am 2 weeks in to the IP program and loving it! There are tough days but the support and advice on this forum are indispensible!

Welcome! This forum is excellent for ideas and recipes. I am just finishing my first week (also DIY with alternatives), and it was tough but I got through it. I'm not sure I would have had the motivation to push through those first tough days without this place to check in and see inspiration- even if I am just lurking most of the time! At the end of my first week I am getting my energy back, sleeping better, and having pretty amazing weight loss, so stick it out, you'll be happy you did.

I am in my 2nd week too. I am so glad I stumbled upon this forum as well. It really is nice to see that there are so many others out there going through the same things as I am!
