Time to get with it!

Last month was fabulous and I went from a size 14 to an 8 this weekend when I visited express to see where I was. Two weeks ago I had a business trip and I was pretty good, but could have been better. I have been making little cheats here and there since and it is so true that one cheat and you cheat more and more. So...starting today I am back to starting again 100% and I am doing this. Today I was a rabid bear and starving, but I made it. I can't wait to see where I will be by Labor Day which is right around the corner. I CAN DO THIS AND I WILL DO THIS!!

I still have this terrible fear that once I phase off at the end of this it will be tragic. Dr. Tran's book is certainly helping me with this. I am so happy I found this board!

Good for you for getting back at it! Just remember that you are worth it!!!

I can't wait to read about your progress! :):):):):):):)

Are you eating the free lettuce/cucumber/celery that you can have between meals? *disclaimer: my clinic lets us eat as much cucumber and celery as we would like..but all clinics are not equal...so check with your coach. Good luck, it will be ok. try to plan ahead to have things you can eat so you can take the stress out of it, & make sure to drink your water... :)

the protocol only lists free lettuce. Cukes and celery are still on the select veggie list

Cukes and celery are listed as free on my sheet. Isn't it funny how differently this program is implemented place to place?

Oh man I would love cukes and celery to be free!!!!! My coach did say when i asked him about the 2 cup veggies is that raw or cooked, he said if it was green veggies i'd be ok with it being cooked....but it's raw...

My coach was the first guy to offer it in the USA! I'll stick with what he has to say LOL.

Hi, I'm maintaining and my fun day would be too long for me (1 - 2 days sometimes 2 1/2 days)...I would also stop giving myself at least 5 days in between them... slowly the weight crept up on me! Like you I'm nipping it in the bud and getting it under control before it's too late! I was 175 at my highest and today weighed in at 167... So, I'm 2 lbs from being comfortable and 7 lbs from HAPPY!!! :)

This board has been a godsend for me!!!!!!!!!

Keep going girl and never give up! You're worth it.

When I did P1 (not even a year ago!) Cukes and celery were free...If I were you I would consider them free... :)

They sure do help! And I guess if it were to come down to it and I am raging hungry I would be better off with a big bowl of lettuce with some cukes and WF dressing than "snacking." But i know if I hold strong and get past those crazy first days to get bak in ketosis I will no longer be hungry all the time :) Thank you all so much!

My IP office says that they ARE free, and it helps SO MUCH! :carrot:

aliceinseattle 08-19-2012 11:27 PM

Celery and cucumber are definitely "free". So are alfalfa sprouts and bak choy, etc according to this site.

Campana 08-23-2012 09:59 PM

Great job on getting back on track.

That list is very different from the list my coach gave me.

AVOCADO!!!!!!

fourstubbs 08-24-2012 03:42 AM

I wish all of the clinics would be on the same page. I would love to eat avocado, but on this same page, they limit protein to 5 oz for beef, 7 for lean chicken and fish. I love IP though... I am so encouraged. :)
