ketosis- when and how do you know?
 

How do you know if you are in ketosis and when does it usually occur? I am on day 4. My headaches, nausea, and fatigue are gone, but I am still feeling hungry.
Will I really know when it begins?

My coach told me it can take 3-4 days to hit ketosis. I noticed a funny taste in my mouth and my urine also smelled weird. I bought ketostix so I didn't need to guess anymore.

Where did you get your sticks?

You can get the sticks at Walmart BUT they don't always give the best reading! It takes 3-4 days to be in ketosis and you will have bad breath, urine smells odd, sweat has a different smell.

I had to look in the pharmacy at my local Kroger's for them. They're under the name "Ketostix". And I agree that sometimes the readings are off.
