Thought it would be beneficial if we had a thread with ideas on IP phase 1 compatible foods that can be used in "emergency" situations. For example, when all of a sudden you find yourself w/o IP packets and stuck in a situation where you need to eat something over the course of the day and have nothing with you.
What to do?
The obvious ideas I thought of were:
1. see if there's a Walmart nearby and buy some Pure Protein bars or shakes that fit the nutritional profile (I have never bought these, but heard about them). This assumes you have a car and time to run out and get them; big assumption.
2. If there's a cafeteria nearby (if you forgot to bring packets to work), see if you can get 2 hard boiled eggs or a chef's salad w/ extra hard boioled eggs and strip off the extras on it that we're not allowed. Use lemon and olive oil or just lemon for a dressing.
Leads me to think that perhaps we need (I need) to keep an emergency stash of IP drink mixes in my car and purse...but if you hadn't prepared that much yet, what could be done?
Other ideas?
