Don't beat yourself up! They are on the Do NOT eat list b/c they have sugars...just move on from it and try to amp up your water intake. Could be a whole lot worse, so dust yourself off and keep on going. Just read the sheet again for phase one, I often do to remind myslef what we actually can have etc. Good luck!
and maybe don't eat any restricted items for a few days to make up for the extra carbs in the carrots?
My coach said a few shredded carrots on a salad was OK, just not to overdo it.
(and I agree - not the end of the world - much better than a grain product!!)
It's not really bad at all!!! Just don't do it again ... Seriously, you'll continue to do great and be sure to refer back to your sheet. I leave mine posted on my fridge to help with remember everything... keep truckin' along coutryck22!!!
