Default IP Ice Cream

I am still learning to navigate this site so excuse me if I am asking a question that is simple to find but what is IP Ice Cream. And can someone tell me how to get that ticker at the bottom of your message?

IP Ice Cream 1 IP drink packet (for example, chocolate drink packet for chocolate ice cream) ½ TSP of vanilla extract 1 packet of sweetener (Truvia, Splenda, etc) 1 cup of water ½ cup of course salt Ice (Plus a large (gallon) and small (sandwich) sealable ziplock bag. (Finnish friends, you can find at Iso Omena Citymarket in the US food section) Directions: 1. Put 1 cup of water into IP shaker – add in vanilla and sweetener – then the IP drink packet and shake until well blended. Pour mixture into small sandwich plastic bag. SEAL TIGHT. 2. Take a gallon sized plastic bag and fill up half way with ice cubes. Pour ½ cup of salt into the bag. Place the sealed sandwich bag with the drink mixture inside the ice cube bag. MAKE SURE BOTH BAGS ARE SEALED TIGHT. 3. Now here come the little arm workout! Shake, shake, shake for 8 minutes. I usually stop at around 5 minutes and check to see the progress. At about 5 minutes the mixture should be partially frozen – kind of looking like a slushy. (Try pot holders while shaking the bag because it’s cold to hold onto!) 4. At 8 minutes you are going to have a hard bag of ‘ice cream’! Take out of the salty ice bag and very quickly rinse the bag off under cold water.

You will get your ticker when you have been a member for 20 days and have made 20 post

I'm not sure about the IP Ice Cream, but do know about the ticker. The ticker will be placed into your signature. You have to be a member of the forum for 20 days and have 20 posts before the Signature option is available in your User CP. I would say it's best to wait until 22-25 days. I started looking at my User CP every hour on what I thought was my 20th day, but it really was my 18th day and it was driving me crazy. So, if you plan to implement the signature on day 25, you should be happy to see the option then. When the time comes, you can go here to build your ticker.

Thank you Wuv- I have been wondering about that one myself! Does anyone here have experience making these with alternative products? Does it alter the taste (ie make a sweet shake taste more/less sweet)?

I put EAS RTD in my "slushy magic" which is a "as seen on TV" gimmick i got at walmart. It works BUT I had to get a different shaker (the one that came with slushy magic leaked) I got a travel cup thing with a wide screw on lid also at Walmart (in housewares) for $1 that works great!
I drink a slushy EAS (no need for salt or any other ingredients) every day! It gets slushy enough to eat with a spoon and I think I burn the 100 cal. shaking that sucker!
Gotten me through this hot summer!

Here's my alternative recipe directions for making it same as below.

2 cups chopped rhubarb
1 packet stevia
a few shakes of pumpkin pie spice

Place in microwavable bowl and microwave until rhubarb falls apart. Let cool

Place in blender/magic bullet/ninja

Add flavored sugar free coffee syrup I use Cherry as much as you like sweet
Add 1/2 cup ice
Add 1 scoop ( or serving of your protein drink) Chocolate

Blend until smooth

Place in little ziplock bag

Put in big ziplock bag with ice and salt

Shake what your Mamma gave you........

Rinse little bag.... VERY IMPORTANT

Put in bowl.... like a soft serve. This usually yields about 2 cups ice cream so eat what you want if you need your 2 cups of veggies in. I put it in freezer for a few min to firm a bit more.......

And there you have Brandy's Cherry Garcia Ice Cream of sorts which tastes really good. :

This is awesome- you are solving two of my problems with one recipe! Really suffering from salad fatigue and I have a stalk of rhubarb in my fridge that I look at every day and think "when am I going to do something with that thing!"

Can't wait to try tonight! I have a package from Nashua of Cherry Chocolate that I did not like as a shake because I thought it was too sweet, let's see if this process improves my opinion of it.

My leader told me to put the RTD in the freezer and it will come out like soft serve. I did it, and will try it tonight!

OMG just tried this with dark chocolate pudding and used regular salt.

DELICIOUS!

I added a little WF chocolate syrup and a few drops of coconut extract. WOW was that a good breakfast!!
