Default Quick question about WI appointments

What your coach charges for weekly WI appointments? (if anything)

Just want to compare some prices and make decision on continue with coach or moving on my own. I've been following diet for about 4 weeks and lost 23lb so far. Have no problems with following rules and know pretty much everything I need to know. But the costs are starting build up, so I was thinking on continue on my own. My coach charges weekly $90 for IP food and $15 for the appointment. (Don't want to even mention how much I've paid to start the program).

Any thoughts???

Thank you in advance.

I pay $84 for the week of food and do not pay for WI appointments at all. If you think you can do it on your own go for it! I'm going to do the same soon, but I'm not brave enough yet.

I've paid $349 the initial fee (includes all WI and the IP bag with the vitamins, salt, shaker and first week supply). After that I'm paying $4 per food package. Last week the coach suggested to have fat measurement test weekly and it costs $15 per month.

The place I go doesn't charge weekly for appointments. They charge $200 up front for all the appointments from Phase 1 to 4. The food costs about $90 a week; the first 2 weeks they sold me 21 packages for $4 each instead of making me buy boxes so I could decide what I liked and not end up wasting food. My initial meeting was with a dietician, but weekly meetings are with a coach. The dietician didn't push me into buying all the supplements from them; she found out which ones I was already taking and told me that I could continue my multivitamin and I would need to take 800mg each of potassium and calcium daily on top of that. I bought the Cal-Mag and Potassium/Calcium from them... My first week cost about $350 including the $200 for all appointments, the two supplements, and week of food (I bought 3 extra packages to have in case of hypoglycemia in the 1st 3 days).
I'm new here to and I hope my info helps you!

Thank you for the replies. Sounds like my IP office is overpriced, so tomorrow likely will be my last WI appointment with them. Ebay+good full-body monitoring scale, will be cheaper by $200-250 in the next 2 month, so I better spend them somewhere else.

I payed $100 for my first appointment and $27.00 per box with no charge for weigh in appointment. We are allowed to mix our boxes at the same price of a full box. If I was to go there just to weigh in, then I would expect to pay for it, but not when I pay for the food.

I paid a $150 "enrollment fee" and pay about $85-90 week for food. Now, with the price increase, that has gone up $0.50 per packet. My coach weighs me, does my measurements, and that is it. I get more support from the site here. (Just my experiences- I know many others have excellent coaches). I made the decision (simply financial) last night to go to alternatives. I am seeing my coach one last time this week to switch out some packets and get all my measurements. I have not told her as of yet but I am sure she will be disappointed. But, as I said, it is financial.

Best of luck to you whatever you decide!

Each clinic is different and mine charging $350 start up fee (welcome kit which included first week of food, salt, beverage shaker and some other things), and weekly appointments which includes weight ins and body composition testing. Then I pay $4/packet and supplements. Roughly $84 / week plus supplements...My peeve is I thought this was a 10 week deal and the cost is racking up! Can't wait for it to end...SOON!!!

I've realized this site is just as helpful as my clinic for information so you can do it without them... we're here!!!

My coach is the chiropractor herself and/or her husband who is a chiropractor too. My start-up fee was $322 but that included a one time $100 lifetime fee for everything from Phase 1-4, weigh ins, I can call and email anytime or if I want to go back in five years and start again I won't be charged anything except for food. My husband started a week later and she waived the $100 fee so his was $222 to start up but he has the same conditions. She wanted us to use the IP vitamins and supplements for the first month (or package) to get the benifits but after that she said we could change if we wanted to find something comparable. She sells single packs at $4 and trades and every week gives a free sample to try something new. I keep a variety of packs on hand so sometimes I buy a large quanity and other weeks I buy less but she always has a lot in stock so there isn't the problem of her not having things in stock like some people have mentioned. She measures at every meeting too. I have only seen her husband one time. I liked him as well but he says he doesn't measure very well. He leaves that for his wife -LOL. He had a different way of giving you knowledge that will help in later phases regarding fats and carbs and incorporating exercise.
I am very happy with my coach- except for the hour drive. That is why I wait two weeks sometimes to weigh in.

I started up yesterday at a new clinic. They didn't charge me for a restart appt, but I did pay 269.50. That included 3 boxes of food ($27 each), 1 chocolate pre-made ($28.50), 1 shaker, salt, and Cal-Mag, Multi-Vitamin, Potassium Calcuim, Novi-Lax, and 3 months of the BCA machine.

I never asked if there was a weekly fee.

What a difference in fees! I paid a $100 initial workup fee, got a variety bag with one of everything, shaker, etc., but at the $3.80/packet price. Same with weekly food. No extra fees for coaching, but if I want to use a fancy BMI/hydration, etc., I pay for that. Not required though. They make their money on the markups for the food.

Oh, the start-up consisted of 35 packets of food, the shaker, salt, the vitamins, both supplements, and a reusable IP bag I use to carry everything in.

Reading all those reply I can say for sure my office is the most expensive. Initial signup was a whooping $515... Well, I hope I'll make some of those money back on buying food somewhere else and saving on weekly fees.

DANG!!.....you need to report that clinic!....that is crazy insane!....I went to an open house tonight to give a testimonial their start up fee was $258 for 9 days worth of food, supplements, salt, shaker and bag. Their weekly fee is $90 for food.

My startup kit was $250 that was 44 weeks ago and I pay $64.20 a week, my coach gives us a 10%discount
