Chicken ideas

  • I want to marinate some chicken for skewers for superbowl so I have something on plan on the table that and a veggie tray.

I'm looking for what I can marinate it in - any ideas??

  • A couple nights ago I had baked chicken that I had marinated in the WF Honey Dijon dressing. It was delicious! I added a garlic and herb seasoning to the chicken before baking it and they seemed to go well together. I love the idea of chicken skewers, I'll have to give that a try.
  • I use this for one serving of cubed chicken for skewers -
    1 tsp olive oil
    1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
    1 garlic clove, chopped finely
    1/4 tsp dried thyme
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
  • I tried this a couple of nights ago on some chicken tenders. It could be used on cubes for skewers. It only has to marinate for 15 minutes if at room temperature (hours if refrigerated). Quick for when you're rushed (seems like I always am)

    • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
    • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
    • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Good luck with Super Bowl Sunday.
  • I've done teriyaki/soy sauce a lot... With some garlic....
  • Not really a marinade but mix Walden Farms Blue Cheese Dressing or Dip with Frank's Buffalo Hot Sauce for great dip for plain chicken skewers.
  • Pesto with basil, garlic, olive oil.
  • what about chicken with some olive oil, paprika and salt and peper...always tastes good to me.
