The Panic Button

  • I wanted to start this thread for those of us who are in a situation and feel like they may eat off plan. Hope this helps.
  • I posted this on another thread, but...I was visiting my parents' house (carb central!!), on the verge of giving in to the urge to cheat, and I sent an S.O.S. to my coach. His reply: "Go in the bathroom and take a picture of your butt in the mirror with your cell phone. Every time you think about cheating, look at that photo, remember why you're on this program, and think about how much better you'll feel if you don't cheat." I didn't even need to take the photo...the mere thought was enough to keep me from cheating.

This made my morning! So true though. We all need that extra motivation once in awhile to keep us on track.

I love this! Gave my daughter (who is also on IP) a good laugh. Glad it worked for you.
