I would have gone insane on IP if I only bought 3 boxes per week! In my opinion, you are setting yourself up for really bad food cravings if you don't stock up on some various tastes and textures.

You will be much more successful long term if you invest up front in a variety of flavors and textures and have them on hand at home so that when you crave something you can find a packet with similar flavor or texture to have as your next meal. Over time you will use them up and it won't cost you any more, it will only be that you are buying them in advance.

Have you tried using the soup powder to dip firm veggies (like zucchini) in, before you saute it? There are any number of ways to use up a packet later, and you may find you have a taste for something like that in the future.

you can just order them direct from online...even amazon and ebay has them up for sale from clinic/previous users of the program/distrib

Its my understanding that they should be sold at the price set by ideal protein and its in the consultation fee that the individual clinics are able to decide what they charge. I know the clinic I started with didn't sell individuals unless they had a box open already but I've set mine up that every box is open so you can mix and match or buy the whole box. It makes inventory easier when people aren't buying a whole box too and besides its so much nicer to have a variety. I know that I tend to eat the same things most of the time but its nice to have some different options when your feeling like it.

I am training as a coach right now- and the truth is that the FDA has restricted clinics from selling individual packets since they are not labeled for individual sale. If you haven't seen a change in the way your clinic does things yet, you will in the coming months.

My clinic also has a trade out section which, as these changes are enforced, clinics will be encouraged to have.

When you get your chocolate chip cookies, microwave them for 15 seconds. Heaven!

I have been saving mine for weigh-in day as a reward. Cookie #3 tomorrow hopefully :)

sorry for interrupting the thread.. ohh great idea karikitten I will give it a try (after weigh in tomorrow :p)

My clinic allows us to buy individual packets, boxes and trade ins at any time. They focus on that as long as we are eating what we like we, we will be using the packets :D

Thanks for the update! At the moment I have my usual that I use but the trade out section makes sense
