Going to take it easy today I think but tomorrow is a whole different story....lol.

Everyone have a great OP day!

Wuv, have a great time!! Can't wait to hear all about it!!!:carrot:

Good Friday Morning to you all... today is a good day, it is warm and suppose to be all weekend yahhh... so as a reward, my friend is treating me. There is a dog charity event at a Tattoo place this weekend, and because I will soon lose my old dog I am getting a tattoo of her paw print. She has a vey unique paw it only has 3 toes... I am excited and nervous as I have never had a tattoo before, and it also means no giving blood for a year... I feel bad about that part but I have been wanting a tattoo for quite some time just really don't like needles but because the money is going to a dog rescue organization I thought I would brave it. Will let you know on Monday how this goes and if I chickened out.

Awwwwwe.....that is such a cute idea!!:carrot: I have a Tinkerbell tattoo on my leg.....wish I could say I was young and silly when I got it, but I was 45!! LOL!! It hurts....but it's not PAINFUL (I prefer not to lie to you like Hubby did to me while he was getting his Mickey Mouse tat -"oh Honey it's not so bad"....because I was in line to get mine NEXT)!! Haha!!

So... it's been about a month since Hubby and I started Maintenance. Went in to my clinic to weigh in the other day (haven't been in since the end of August) and to get more Southwest Cheese Curls of course....YUM!! I wanted to share with you all that even tho my weight has not changed (still at 165), I am proud to say that I am officially in a "healthy" Body Fat Range (as opposed to "Overfat")!!!:carrot: Also, all my numbers have gone down except Body Water %...which went up!!! I did start working out again...4x a week, including 2 days of weight lifting....and perhaps that is why all my numbers have changed. Anywho....wanted to let you all know "it's STILL working"!!! :carrot:
Best wishes!!

I am glad for you and your hubby that you can show us the way and that you let us know.

Yes I don't like needles so that was why I hesitate. but I do give blood and that is a BIG needle... I am hoping not too painful but I will do it anyway... I think!

Welcome everyone, congrats on all your NSVs and SVs.. I had a nsv yesterday, team meeting, our group is scattered across alberta so we met in Calgary yesterday and one of the guy's hasn't seen me since I started... he couldn't believe I had lost so much... It was very nice. I was always the big one in the group and now I am more in size with the other 2 ladies, though they are still skinnier than me but I am very happy with where I am right now, and hope to go further. Only time will tell.

Have a great day... I am so happy don't really know why, maybe because it is friday and my dogs are both doing well and life is just good... (even though I forgot my breakfast today!) Off to get breakfast a friend has in the kitchen for (Joanne's) emergencies...

I only have one small tattoo now, but I'm getting my second in a week. I don't remember pain, just annoying sting. It all depends on where you put the tattoo. If you put it on a bony area, it's gonna hurt more - fleshy areas less so. Size and time it takes play a role as well. you're getting something really special and meaningful, so you'll more than likely forget any pain within 5 minutes of it being done.
DH has 10. My sister has 6. Next week DH is getting #11 and his sister is getting her first. We booked out two tattoo artists for most of the day! I'm really excited.

Good Morning All!
I don't have alot to add since I don't start the plan until Monday. I always have questions though. In Phase 1 why would you use WF jelly? And...what is a MIO drink?
Last week I bought a Harley Sportster, so if it ever stops raining I'll get to ride it this wekend. My ultimate goal is to fit into a size 8 jeans and buy myself some leather :carrot: i normally ride on the back of DH bike, so this will be a whole 'nother world for me. I rode years and years ago hopefully it's like riding a bicycle. It all comes back:D

Tattoos aren't that bad. I'm a chicken and I've managed to get through 3 of them! What a good idea too.

You know I've actually thought about getting a small heart tattoo with a pattern in it & a Hidden Mickey! DH has considered getting a Buzz Lightyear tat (son is HUGE fan).

Some folks have put the jelly and the peanut butter spread on celery or cucumbers. Mio is a drink additive that's available in the U.S. (I got some at Target). It comes in a variety of flavors in a little squirt bottle. It costs about $4for a bottle, and you just squeeze three shots into a bottle of water. I think it makes 11 bottles, but can't remember. Wonderful taste change if you're tired of plain water. Next time I go to the US, I'm stocking up - I'm ok with the plain water, but hubby LOVES the Mio flavoring. I believe it's made with sucralose, which is ok to have.

I'd like to do something for myself at 40lbs.

I have gotten a facial and I am bad about using giftcards from birthdays christmas, so I am spacing them out and using them as I hit certain weight goals.
I got a deep tissue massage after i hit -20 from a gift card i got from BF. so amazing.

cheap ideas: are you a groupon person? go on groupon and every day you will be emailed a deal in your area. great discounts. you can reward yourself with things that interest you (non-food please ;) ).

pedicures are always nice too!

Hi Mary Ann, WF Jelly, well I haven't tried any of that, but this week was my first week of trying WF apple butter (a soup recipe I have says applesauce and this is the closest I could get) I was pleasantly surprised with the apple butter and have had it also in vanilla pudding.
Even though IP has a great selection of foods they do get tiring over time, especially because you have 3 a day and if like me you have to buy by the box that can get very monotone... Mio is a water enhancer, it comes in peach mango, strawberry watermelon, peach tea, tea, fruit punch I think that is all but not sure... and let me tell you after 8 months of drinking around 120 oz of water a day, you sometimes just need a little flavor.
I am hoping you are enjoying your reading of information in the newbie sticky at the top with the stickys the information in there is very important and I still go back to refresh things.. plus the recipes there are really good as well.
Take care.

Hi Everyone, like I said above I tried the apple butter, my lady at Sweet Tweet's has brought in the flavored mayos, she only brought in 3 flavors Honey mustard, the chipolte and sorry can't remember the 3rd. I bought the chipotle mayo. It is runny and not like the mayo. more of a sweet taste than a chipotle taste. I mix it with mustard, hot sauce, worchestershire sauce, vinegar and oil for salad dressing, and without the vinegar and oil for steak sauce. I also bought the green valley ranch thai curry sauce as I quite like it too.

[QUOTE=2RIDEROLLERCOAST;4044058]yes you have to check the nutritional facts before purchasing, that is why I don't use the canadian one that was linked here, they had NO info on nutritional values.

Hello :),

I used proteinwell.ca and they have the nutritional value of every item, if you are on alternatives and would like to try them, the shipping was free and fast (only two days) whereas I had to pay an extra $26.30 for my shipping from the US for a month worth of food, so it makes a difference you know if you'd like to try them.

so I should have said there is no ingredients list and I always look on there for if it is sucrolose or aspartame... so I was going back and forth between there and Nashua for the ingredience. Found it just as easy using Nashua. I haven't really switched over to alternatives just bought some to supplement IP products. I really like the IP products but sometimes the budget gets a little tight and this helps a whole lot.

Happy Friday all!! Hope you all have a great weekend even if you are working. Only real plans I have so far is going out to dinner Sat. night for bro's B-Day. I am going to try to see if their menu is online before we go but if not I am sure there will be something I can have. Don't eat out much since starting this program but saving $ not going so that is good. Had wi #11 today and down another 2.6lbs! If I can do atleast that amount by next week I will have hit 40lbs in 12 weeks and by the end of Sept.! I am going to figure out how to put pics in my signature like others have when I have more time today. Have a great day everyone!!

jordanna 09-23-2011 12:26 PM

It sucks that the new Vanilla pudding has more carbs. I picked one up to see if it tastes as good as the old kind. It's a staple in my world so I'm hopin it's not terrible.

sandralosingweight 09-23-2011 12:30 PM

I really admire how everyone is finding a way to still be sticking to the program with all the weddings, birthdays and anniversaries! Way to go all!

I find it extremely hard to keep on program while away from home, and lately, I've been spending the weekends with my hubby at his sister's so, last weekend it was terrible since I had a huge cheat, but this weekend, I want to seriously put the hugest effort into stayin OP even though I have a baby shower to go to. I will pack up my protein envelopes, my vitamin supplement and some veggies with me for the weekend, and usually I buy a roasted chicken there from Costco in order to have supper. I am really hoping that this time I would not slip like I did before, I am determined, but still... scared.

Will let you know on Monday, hope I will have good news, God! I hate it when I am scared this much and the decision is mine! That's ridiculous! I mean, I should know that I WOULD NOT cheat, but for a reason I am always scared I would :(
