10 pounds or less to go! SO frustrating

t's like my body is wanting to hang on to the last 10! Urghh. I went two weeks without losing an ounce so ot pissed and blew it mainly with alcohol. Back on trck now and ready to kick these last ten to the curb. Anyone else with me?

michelletroy 08-26-2011 01:58 PM

I have a little more than 10 to go, but I feel ya amaliayosa!!! I know the inches are coming off but it is HARD to stay OP 100% for me!! But, I will do my best, which is what we can both shoot for!! :)

Me!! I cheated big time last weekend I still want to try to go down to 135, but right now I am stuck (mentally/physically) at 145. So my coach moved me to phase 2. She thought that was better than me trying it on my own.

amaliayosa 08-26-2011 04:39 PM

I am thinking about moving to phase two as well. Will talk to my coach Tuesday. Te challenge has been that I am receiving so many comments on my loss so far and how I 'already look great' But I know me, and I know I need to lose a few more than my original goal for wiggle room, especially through the holidays. I initially said once I hit a size 8 I would consider that goal. But I still feel i culd lose at least another ten.

I'm in for the last 10lb challenge, we can do this!!!!!!
If there's a cheat, dust yourself off and get back on the horse.
Reaching our goals is gonna be so awesome :carrot:

I have 4 weeks to lose the last 10. I have spent the last 4 weeks losing absolutely nothing. Here's hoping that perseverence pays off!

longdivision 08-26-2011 08:36 PM

my last 10 lbs was really really hard! i stopped losing weight near the end of phase one, didn't lose any weight in phase 2, but phase 3 saw losses of 4 lbs in 2 weeks. the previous 3 weeks showed no loss at all. sometimes it really helps to switch things up by starting to phase off.

good luck!!

4 weeks to lose for me too. Having a surgical procedure and want to be at goal by then.

That last 10 pounds has been a very slow struggle for me also. I gave up and went to phase 2. Oddly enough, I started losing weight faster once I did that. Everyone's body is different. My body was just tired of Phase 1 -- I know my mind was!

So yesterday I hit my goal on my scale (after one week on Phase 2) -- and, for all practical purposes, that is the scale I will use in the future (not the one at the clinic). So . . . Yippi I Kiao -- or something like that!

I think going to Phase 2 is better than going off plan and getting frustrated. We've worked too hard to just give up now.

That's my two cents!

I have 10 or so to lose . Count me in. My coach wanted me to go on to Phase 2 but I said no, because I thought it would slow me down. After reading people's posts, I am thinking that if things really slow down, I may move to 2.
I also have people telling me how thin I am. I have lost weight, but am not at my goal.
Let's all keep focused and going. We can do it.

amaliayosa 08-26-2011 09:49 PM

Hmmm, maybe i'll consider moving on to phase two. My scale at home shows a greater loss and matches the one in my dr office. The one at the clinic is an older scale, on carpet??? Plus im fully clothed and weigh in in the evening. So according to them i've lost 13, but my scale says 17 so im going with that.

BRAVO on getting to goal! That is a huge success. I hope you're doing something wonderful to celebrate like getting a massage or a facial or going for a great hike!

amaliayosa 08-27-2011 07:25 AM

WTG Calee!!!! Can you believe it???? I am down a pound this morning after 3 solid days of being OP. I am motivated again. Now to remember to take my supplements :/ Never thought id see the day where i'd say I have less than 10 pounds to lose!!!

coliep 08-27-2011 08:17 AM

That's great, so glad to hear of everyone's successes!! That must be encouraging!

I am feeling beyond discouraged. After gaining 2 pounds (inexplicably), I have now been stuck at that higher weight for 3 weeks now bouncing around the same 2 pounds. I am working out, eating well, drinking water, taking supplements. There is just absolutely no reason I shouldn't be able to break through this.

I would contemplate talking to a trainer or nutritionist but most are anti low calorie and anti low carb, so I don't think going that route will really help me.

Broken record signing off . . .

amaliayosa 08-27-2011 08:32 AM

Well, what finally made the scale move for me I think, was I had a few off program days. Not real bad, but higher calories than i was used to. Seemed to re-calibrate my body and kick it back into gear. Hae been op 100% since my mini binge.
