I bet it has carbs doesn't it. Usually the fat free half and half has corn syrup or something in it.

Found my answer after much searching. It is obviously NOT ok..."Ingredients: Nonfat milk, milk*, corn syrup solids, artificial color**, sugar, dipotassium phosphate, sodium citrate, mono and diglycerides*, carageenan, natural and artifical flavors, vitamin A palmitate.

Default Coffee Tricks

I am a coffee fanatic. Most other diets I've tried I give up shortly after I start, either because no coffee is permitted, or no creamer in the coffee is allowed.

I've tried 6-7 different types of premade vanilla drinks, I've tried 2-3 powders. The powders I thought would dilute my coffee less and would keep my coffee hot. Bad idea. They don't add much creaminess at all. So I went back to trying all the different ready drink vanillas I could find.

A week ago I gave up. The ideal protein was the best. The bad part was that it took exactly one half of the drink for my coffee to be just right. I tried lowering the amount used by adding in a small bit of stevia, but I found that I need the creaminess more than the sweetness for me to be happy.

The Atkins vanilla shake is 160 calories, but... and here it the part I was happy about... I use only 1/4 of the drink in my coffee. So the IP drink, I use half, that's 55 calories. The Atkins vanilla shake I only use 1/4, which is 40 calories.

I then get to have my egg whites every morning.

On a side note. I've tried using half and half for a week, but just limited my coffees to one in the morning and one in the evening. Egg whites for breakfast. It didn't stall me at all. I think the calories were about the same. Half and half is 40 calories for 2 tablespoons and I put in 3, which is 60 calories. Just 5 calories more than my 1/2 readymade IP vanilla drink.

Hi, I'm also a coffee enthusiast. I use the IP chocolate drink and dark chocolate pudding and then add a starbucks via to it, with ice, in my magic bullet. It is delish. Total chocolate frappe. I don't add very much excess water, just IP packet, via, ice, blend. It satisfies.

I was using the Land o' Lakes Mini Moos and I had 3 (1 with each of my cups of coffee in the morning) and these only have the following:

Before I started IP, I would drink 6-8 big cups of coffee a day. 2 tsp sugar, 2 tsp non-dairy creamer and a splash of International Delight flavored liquid creamer. I also would have a couple of Starbucks mocha fraps here and there. When I started this diet, I vowed to follow it by the book. The first morning, I put my allowed skim milk and 1 splenda in my first cup. I couldn't even taste the milk and the splenda was yucky to me. The second day, I skipped the milk because I couldn't taste it anyway. Since that second day, I have 2 cups of coffee every morning with a packet of splenda in each one. That's it. That's all the coffee I drink and I'm fine with it. I don't even crave it like I used to. It's amazing what your body quits craving after you quit providing it with the bad stuff. I have the IP cappuccino drink every morning and find that it is very sweet. This week I've started adding it to my coffee so that some of the sweetness is cut. I don't add splenda to my coffee when I do this.

I also used to have a lot of coffee with full cream and sweetener. For the first two days of IP I tried the vanilla RTD. then I just started having coffee black with one packet of splenda. Now I have one or max two a day instead of many and I've gotten used to the black coffee and am actually like it fine now. I must say though that my very fav breakfast is the vanilla RTD with a big spoonful of Encore instant coffee blended with ice.

I only drink a cup a day. I started using the sugar free davinci syrups, a bit of splenda and fat free half and half. May switch to regular half and half and see how i do with it.
