Default Can you have regular protein for lunch and IP for dinner?

Hello! This is my third week on IP ( still phase 1) and I was wondering if it would be ok to eat regular protein meal at lunch and IP meal for dinner? Or do we have to follow the protocol literally and changing the meals make a difference? Thank you!

My coach has told me that changing it occassionally was ok but that it was best to follow the protocol for optimal weight loss. That being said, I don't trust my coach very much so I'd also like to hear what others have to say.

I switch around all the time. I find that I lose weight more when I have my protein meal at lunch and my IP at dinner.

I say go with what works for you. There are some days that friends want to go out for lunch so I do and flip my lunch/dinner. This should be a lifestyle change not just a diet. Make it work for you!

I have a few times on the weekends but it's easier for me to bring the "packets" to work so I just stick with that.

I'm on week 3 and I switch my lunch and dinner all the time. Sometimes I wake up really hungry and switch breakfast with lunch. I've lost 6.5lbs first week and 3lbs second week (even with it being TOM). I weigh in again this friday. I think it may be ok, I asked my coach and she said it was fine.

It's ok to switch it up. My coach even says I can't split my protein between lunch and dinner if I want). So I may throw 1/2 chicken on my "greens" at lunch; then eat the other half with my veggies at night.

I switch too especially on weekends when hubby preferes a larger meal at lunch than dinner. But I do find I am much hungier by bedtime when I do that and it is harder to sleep.
