Bellamack: Congrats on the loss! Finally huh! I bet you are over that hump now and will continue to lose. Who cares if the coach thinks you are cheating, only you know what is going in your mouth.

Morning everyone :)

Going to see Harry Potter with my husband tonight...excited and this time not even nervous about popcorn...I did it last time and I can do it again :). It also helps that this morning I finally broke out of the 230's. They've been plaguing me for over a month.

Have a great weekend :)

Good morning all, hopefully today is great for everyone... It has to be it is SATURDAY!

Walked the dogs for 1 hour this morning, now getting ready to go out to donate some blood (hopefully my pulse is at the right level this week) then off to my favorite place for lunch... then I have to mow my lawn, it rained last night and hopefully it will be dry this afternoon to cut it... as I had lawn mower issues for 2 weeks and had to weedwack my lawn last night as it was 2 feet long...yuck.

Congrats Jordanna, I went last week to Cowboys and Aliens and LOVED it...

I'm still nervous about movie theater popcorn. It's my favorite part of the movie! (Horrible, I know!) Good job hitting a new decade. I can't wait!

I decided to go get my kids' school supplies this afternoon as I'm tired of sitting home all day every Saturday. My hubby always works at his full time job 6-11 on Sat and then at his part time job 1-6 so I've grown to hate them. During the school year I don't mind as much because I have homework to keep me busy but during the summer I'd rather be out and about.

Hey there fellow IPers!

Question for the day: How in the heck to do I get my ticker? My user CP still says " you have to be a member for 20 days and have atleast 20 posts" blah, blah, blah....this Tuesday will be my 1 month so I know I have been a member long enough but cant seem to figure this one out on my own....anyone know something that I dont? :) Thanks in advance for this one!

The frist 3 weeks I had really good losses in weight and inches, but the last two weeks I havent lost any inches and 2 lbs the 4th week and nothing this last week. Any suggestions? I have 3 ip packs a day with one of them restricted plus my veggies and protein. My ticker is not updated. Scale this morning has my at 179 lbs. I use the ketosis strips and they were reading at the upper end of the scale, then i stupidly cheated last weekend and now the strips are only showing trace levels. Ive been strict for the last 4 days and was hoping that the strips would be back up to the highter levels.

Don't worry darbi40, it's the dreaded 5 week lull which seems to happen to a lot of people. Just stick to the plan and it will all work out. :)

Jordana, I went to see Harry Potter last weekend - loved it! I made a little mixed bag of goodies with some of the southwestern puffs and the chocolate puffs combined (I weighed the total amount to 35grams - the approx amt per serving on the packages) Happily, I wasn't even tempted by the popcorn! :) Have fun!

The difference might be that people just carry weight differently, and different stores do sizing MUCH differently. I can vary by as much as 2 or 3 sizes depending on the stores. It is not a US/Canada thing though to my knowledge.

Actually I think there is a difference. Canadian sizes seem smaller and I have read that is true. Most of my clothes come from Coldwater Creek though because they carry a petite ( in my case "short") in all sizes and often have free shipping. Plus the Canadian $$$ has been strong lately.

OK so I lied...another question: what are these ketosis strips that everyone is taking about and where do you find them? I am assuming that I am in ketosis with the weight loss that I have experienced in the past month...I am just curious how far the strips read...thanks!

JackieGee your goal is achievable! There are many great examples of IPers on this site who have done it!

All I can say right now ( tears in my eyes) I LOVE ALL MY IP 3FC'S I couldn't do this without your support and tips. I think that those who suggested more protein were right on, I feel much better, not so sluggish.

and I said I think my coach (whom I really like) thinks I am cheating because when I asked if she had seen this kind of slow-down in any of her other clients, she said "no, only the ones that cheated". I made it very clear to her that I have not cheated even once. She still thinks I should be downing the Propel, but I am not going to.

again, thank you for keeping me going through a very early in the program rough patch. I am certain I would have quit without the reassurance :)

Congrats to all with your great victories!

Good for you! As for me, I need a bit more time yet.

I think its more the stores than the country cause i can go a store (usually reitmans) and fit in a size that if i try that same size anywhere else, it will be too small.

Anyone eaten at Moxie's on IP? What did you have?
