Im going out with my family and we are going to go to the fireworks and we are going to go listen to some live music and watch the parade!!!

I will be celebrating with my family (my husband and I have two kids ages 5 and 8). We all dress up in our Canada Day T-shirts (my daughter and I have new ones this year). We have a "small-town ticky tacky parade" around here that everyone loves to go to and then we have lunch at home... after lunch, there are festivities in one of our bigger parks: inflatable structures for the kids to play on, a rock climbing wall, performances all day long, etc. We usually come home for supper and we go back at the end of the day for a nice fireworks display!

Happy Canada Day!

I'm working today, but tonite we will be heading into Duncan to watch my hubby's band play. They are part of the line up for the outdoor entertainment this evening.
