Has anyone tried the shake weight? I haven't bought one, always thought it looked silly. I'm asking because when I mentioned wanting to do something about my jiggly arms yesterday, the nurse who weighs and measures me said she had someone who used it and would lose like 2 inches a week in her arm.
Just wondering if anyone had any input. I wouldn't want to waste my money if it doesn't really work. I have read good reviews on it, but of course there are bad ones too so I'm not sure.

It gives your upper body a minor workout. That's it. Pushups will do more and they will cost you nothing.
Nothing will take two inches off your arm except losing fat.
Waste of money in my opinion.
Echoing what John P said- you could do more with upper body weight exercises, resistance bands and weight- a lotta cheaper too, imo.
I think they break easily too because I've seen a lot more broken ones than functioning ones in the store (sport chalet, big 5, walmart and target) so that played a big part in me not wanting to buy it.
I bought one and am selling it in a garage sale this weekend. I get more from my push ups as JohnP said...I do not think it was worth my money.
It's good for a laugh! But push ups are way better. You could do resistance bands if you're not ready for push ups yet.
LoLoL, what April said is true- good for a laugh!
I just bought one, very recently (less than a week ago) and I've read great reviews about it, people who have used it seems to have had good results, I can't say if it is good or bad yet as I still didn't really use it frequently, I only used it occasionally, but I am sure it works the muscles which will give you definition in your biceps and triceps.
