Question People on alternative plan..what kind of loss do you see?
How long has it taken you to lose weight or get to your goal? How much are you losing in average per week? Did you have the same success as on strict IP?

I'm following the IP Protocol but using strictly alternatives. I'm starting week 3.

Week 1 I lost 5.4lbs
Week 2 I lost 3lbs.

I haven't measured myself from start, but I have also lost inches - I really notice it in my belly area

You can lose using alternative products. I purchase mine from Nashua nutrition.

Like the IP program you have to follow it and be on plan for it to work.

Just to clarify...you are talking about the Alternate Plan and not Alternate Foods, correct?

If you are speaking of alternative products, I have been on plan for 4 weeks and am down 17lbs as of my last weigh-in. You can see my individual weigh-ins in my signature.

I just weighed in after the first week of using alternative products instead of the IP food, and lost three pounds. I've been on the program for seven weeks now and have lost 26 lbs.I am still following IP protocol, just not spending 95.00 a week for their food. I ordered from Nashua Nutrition and am loving the variety that they offer. Love this diet!!!

I follow IP protocol very strictly, but use all alternative products. My losses are posted in my signature. I've read through so many products on line!! I order from nashuanutrition as someone else does in this thread, but not all of them are apropriate.
I also use syntrax nectars for protein shakes.

i went 6 weeks using ip food and the last 3 using alternative food. My weight loss has stayed consistant throughout with me lossing 2-3 lbs each week. I also order from Nashua Nutrition and use mostly the Proti Thin products.

MiNewgoal - which of the synthrax do you like and do you order it online? I have started on IP but I will switch to alternative when I move in a month. What are you doing for vitamins (the IP ones make me wanna throw up!) and calcium, potassium, magnesium?

I started the week with alternative and lost 3 pounds in three days and then got on the actual IP and am still losing.

Yes I order the syntrax online. I really like the lemonade, and the fuzzy navel. Another person that I know ordered the vanilla and the cappuccino flavor and really likes those.
Vitamins I've mainly bought from gnc..and a few other places. I get a female Multi-vitamin, and Calcium Magnesium and potassium pill, and a potassium. I don't quite get the same amount of potassium... Haven't had a problem yet, but I do keep that in mind.
I don't have a clinic anywhere near me, so I don't really have an option...

I'm really enjoying the IP protocol!
