Thanks again everyone for the time you take to answer Newbies questions!

Wow!! Good luck to you!!! I really admire the people who use alternative products, because the only reasons I don't cheat is because of the big $$$$ I have to pay each week and because I have to weigh in with my coach----otherwise, I do not think I could do it. Good for you alternative product people----you are stronger than I am!! Well done!!!

good luck to everyone this weekend! you are all amazing!

Way to go Laura! You are ROCKING this diet!!

That is worrisome because you shouldn't get heartburn on IP. My bf has severe heartburn (meds every day when it's bad and the dr tells him too) and one of the benefits of IP is not getting heartburn.

What did you eat? Was it something out of the ordinary or really spicy?

As for remedies, how about Zantac? Or Prilosec (that might be a preventative one, not sure, my bf has both sitting around). I think he takes Zantac after a meal where he gets heartburn. Good luck and I hope you feel better!

I can now wear all of the tops in my closet- comfortably. Sweet!

Isn't that a great feeling?! What a great motivator to see that after only 9 days! Took me 3 weeks to get to that point, but now, at 9 weeks in, I only have a few things that don't fit! Almost can't believe it.

I cant believe that everything is falling so perfectly into place, and the fact that I have stayed on plan this long while househunting and working tons of overtime is my own little NSV. I hope that everyone else is having a great weekend!

Well, congrats on your house, and your awesome day, too!!:)

Thank you ever so much Mary. I can't explain how incredible I feel and I took the plunge and posted an updated FULL BODY pic to facebook and my inbox went NUTS. Holy crap, I seriously wasn't expecting that.

You are doing so well yourself my friend, keep on with what you're doing and these breaks we're taking will NOT slow us down much and will be well deserved ;)

Love your new photo Stacy!!

Bra size went from 46 DD to 38 DDD. It is a truly amazing thing that is happening and it is great to hear others with the same success stories. My body is constantly changing and in a good way. Looking forward to seeing those numbers under 200...hopefully in the next couple of weeks.

NSV for me today is I bought some pants a few weeks ago at a plus girl shop and they are now too big. I am no longer a women's size but a misses. It is nice to walk into a normal size store and fit beautifully into a misses size. I loved my plus girl shops but going into normal size clothing shops is great!

Your progress has been truly amazing! Just love seeing it - WTG!!

Happy Saturday IPers! I'm so very excited to report that, as of today, I've lost 50 pounds on IP. I feel like I can somewhat touch my goal weight now and, without a doubt, these last 3 months have been SO worth it. I had my first "cheat" this week with a restricted bar binge and I have renewed tunnel vision to the end. Have a fabulous Easter weekend, everyone!!

Thank you,

I believe in you! You can do it, Just eat right before you go. Thats what I do before I go anywhere because I know that temptation is all around us. Good luck and it is probably a good thing that you waited until today to buy easter treats, having that in the house would be really hard for me!~;)

My experience with IP has been amazing. That being said, the first day/night was pretty awful. I decided to log on here and read through forums to get some assurance that everything was going to be okay, and I really did. When my body was telling me to go off this crazy plan and just "exercise and eat more salads" I decided to look through the recipes stickies for inspiration. I have discovered that I love the chocolate drink, pina colada, peach mango drink, the oatmeal, chicken and leek soups and my own crazy little concoction of a salad dressing. I discovered that those freaky little purple thingies called turnips at the store can be made into something reminiscent of french fries, and they can be quite satisfying. I also found out that I prefer eating 4 cups of vegetables in a big huge salad at lunchtime because that is when I am the hungriest. I have found that I can reward myself with a new flavor of tea rather than ice cream. Most of all I have found that eating healthy can taste delicious and it makes me feel good. I am happy because I know I will never again take a carb induced nap in the afternoon or have a food-coma. For one, it is unhealthy and two, I don't think my stomach would allow it! I hope this helps you,

Have a fantastic OP day everyone!

Click the multiquote button (next to quote, has a "+" and " next to the +) on all but the last one that you want to quote. On that one, hit quote... On the first post of the thread, there is a link to a tip that shows you the button.
