My mother didn't lose any weight this week-at her #3 WI. She got keostix and found she wasn't in ketosis. Turns out, she ate out somewhere and our best guess is that the meat she had was brined/marinated in something with sugar even though she was assured it wasn't. She showed between trace/moderate as of yesterday afternoon so she is getting back in finally. That is why I keostix myself every day-so I know immediately if I go out. With all the traveling I do for work, I need to know if a meal I ate at a restaurant threw me out so I don't go back the next day. I already know that Outback steakhouse is 'safe' so that is my fallback restaurant when I travel.
Thankfully I've been home all this week and should be all next week-a welcome break to my usually weekly travel.
