Seven weeks on Ideal Protein

Seven weeks on Ideal Protein and 15 lbs, 21 3/4 inches:carrot: Most of my friends are losing more weight per week but I am still losing at least a pound. My counselor said that I might have to eat more protein and added another pack. I am drinking herbal tea and crystal light and water...tons of it...sticking and have not cheated. Although the scales are not moving too fast, my clothes are hanging on me:) Glad they raised the amount of protein at dinner from 5 on meats, 7 on fish to all up to 8 ounces...don't really eat that much but a juicy steak is something to look forward to...at my lowest weight 166 in years

:carrot: That is great!! Keep it up! I too am losing at a slower pace so I am wondering if I need to bump up the protein? Worth a try, thanks for the info.

Me too I am not a fast mover on the scale. I already eat 4 packets most days because I go to the ladies gym for about 40 mins of cross training. Maybe thats why. But I like the way the muscles feel that are coming out. I guess we cant have it all lol.

I'm at 7 weeks too.. (well on Wednesday) I didn't know they moved the meat up.. That's good news, considering I was probably eating a little more than 5 or 7 oz. ;) I wonder if my coach knows this. I think he's tired of me always telling him all the things I learn on this site.;)
Congrats on the loss. I hope to get more than a pound tomorrow.. I've been 100% no cheating, but our bodies sometimes just don't want to get rid of it that fast, but hey a loss is a loss!!

Tomorrow will be six weeks for me and I've lost 17 lbs. Compared to my friends this is slow. I'm constantly reevaluating what I'm doing...am I eating to much veggies, not enough, to much meat, not enough, the same for the oil...maybe I should eat the lower carb veggies...the thoughts go on and on. I'm glad to hear that they upped the protein maybe that will help my husband who has been really hungry on this. I just keep telling myself to just stick to the plan and it will work....just slower.

Try cutting out the Crystal Light...you might see a bigger loss. My coach does not allow aspertame. Make sure to get about 80-100 ounces in just water. Give it a shot...everytime I drank tons of water...the scale behaved.:carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot::c arrot:

I'm not sure why, but some flavours of crystal lite are sweetened with splenda, and some with aspartame, so it is possible to use it and stay on protocol. I've also been buying nestea packets, which are also sweetened with splenda. The green tea one is especially good!
