Question Alternate IP users: Has it worked for you?

I've read through the alternate IP sticky and it is very intriguing. I can't help but get excited about possibly saving money. However, I have a fear that my weight loss won't be as successful.

I was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing your experience with using alternative products for the IP program.

How has the weight loss been? Same/not same?

Have you found that not weighing in every week and having that accountability is making it easier to cheat/slip up?

I'd like to cover all my bases if/before I make any changes and I figured I could gain a lot from your experiences. Thanks for your help.

Since today is only day 10 for me, I don't have alot of experience, but I did lose 7 pounds the first week. I haven't weighed this week yet.

I purchased some Proti diet soup, drinks, and puddings from Nashua Nutrition @ $10.99 per box of 7. I needed some variety to what I was doing.
Been using Pure Protein bars (some have higher carbs and calories than others, so I just buy the lowest ones) and EAS RTD protein shakes.
I am only spending about $4.75 per day for my meals replacements vs. the $21 I would spend on IP products.

I know there are others on here that have been successful using alternate product. I can't wait to hear from them!

I never used one single IP product, but otherwise followed the protocol and lost 45lbs in 3 months. I used EAS shakes and bars.

I know several people that do alternative successfully. I throw in a non-IP product here and there to save some money as well. I like the Pure Protein Drink, it is really yummy and has comparable stats, but with even more protein!

I buy here Just over 2 bucks/serving.
