Jennie O Turkey Brats?
Does anyone know if these are "legal" on phase 1 protocol?

Turkey brats
My coach OK'd them, hubby and I ate them occasionally with no problems. They are great with some saurkraut!

I had one of these tonight and its great! Very yummy and not too large :)

Kind of high in fat...but so tasty. Maybe have them occasionally, not frequently.
|
I also have these every few weeks... I haven't noticed any difference.
|
I'm going to go against the flow here and say I wouldn't have them.
You didn't list the ingredients but I bet there is sugar in those brats, especially since the nutrients list has 2 grams of sugars listed. I guess my philosophy is: why consume carbs in my protein when I can get protein without carbs? The sodium content is high too so I would expect some consequences from that. It's like 3 times more than you would get from the same amount of steak. :dizzy: But whatever you decide, I hope you have a great weight-loss this week! |
What does "sugars" mean on the nutritional analysis of packages? I looked at some low fat turkey sausages, but worried about adding sugars??
