Today I tried the crepe mix crackers, and they came out great, except for one problem. I baked them on wax paper. FYI, they don't come off the paper. Sigh.

I make the crepe crackers all the time. You have to use parchment paper on your cookie sheet or they stick to the pan. I usually bake mine about 15 minutes, then peel it from the paper and turn it over, spray with a little olive oil PAM, sprinkle with a few more spices and return it to the oven for 10-15 minutes until it is brown and crispy. Two nights ago, I used the cracker as the crust for a veggie pizza (see Recipes #2 thread) and it was delicious!!

YUMMY!!!!

I watch a lot of the Food Network. One show I watch a lot of is "The Best Thing I Ever Ate"...when professional chefs/cooks tell what 'they' like to eat. The other day one gal mentioned Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes with Maple Syrup....I could eat a tower of those! (but won't!)

I've been craving everything that is rich and creamy.
I try not to think too much about my cravings as that is what got me here it the first place!

What I have been trying, and I think succeeding in retraining myself to think of Food as Fuel and nothing else.

the RTD chocolate drink is very rich and creamy. drinking some of that might curb your craving!!

If you are wanting rich and creamy, your body is just adjusting to the lower fat. If it keeps up and you feel it becoming a problem, try increasing your oil allotment. LITERALLY, take it off a spoon. It will satiate you and help get over that need (if it is one).

Cravings---yes, I have a lot of them. I enjoy pizza, hamburgers, subway, KFC...kind of explains why I am on the diet in the first place :)
Carla mentioned dreaming about pancakes. I had some weird dreams also. My dreams can be very real, to the point where if I pick something up I actually feel the weight and texture of it. So I would frequently dream that I had pizza, hamburgers, etc in massive meal. Then I would feel guilty about what I had done. Then I would usually wake up and it would take me a couple minutes to convince myself that the guilt was undeserved; that I hadn't actually binged on all that food. It got pretty annoying after awhile, but it is now subsided.

not craving hamburgers anymore (phew!). now i am craving sauteed onions. not green onions... sweet white or yellow onions. and let me tell you something, the WF Jersey Sweet Onion dressing does absolutely nothing to fill that craving because that dressing is really gross. i don't even think i can finish my salad today because of it, and it has cactus on it (my favorite!).
