Default What "food" couldn't you do without?

Hi all, I reached my goal weight today (77# down). Fireworks didn't go off in the bathroom this morning like I had expected but it was still a great feeling. It did get me to thinking what are some of the things that I couldn't have made it through without.

For me, it's easy. Powerade zero and frozen rhubarb.

Anyone else care to share?

You really need to post your progress pics! Congrats on the goal weight! That is so awesome!

I am sure that I would not survive without my chocolate chai tea and cucumbers. I am not at my goal yet, but its coming!

Great question, Newfie! Congratulations on making your goal weight! YAY!!

In the beginning, I couldn't have made it without the vanilla RTD in my coffee instead of the non-dairy creamer that I WAS addicted to. I still use that, but have become addicted to celery and cukes as snacks if I'm on the road or just as part of my regular veges. I also really love the zucchini under the broiler. People here call them "chips" but I have tried cooking them in so many different ways and they may get a little brown but never really "crispy." I love them regardless!

Good luck with maintenance! I am close to my goal, but have considered lowering it recently. I haven't stuck to protocol since December 24th, but am back at Phase I to get back on track. Thanks again for the great question. I look forward to reading other's answers!

Happy New Year IPers!

How do you make your omelet? Do you add anything to it? I haven't tried it yet but plan to this weekend.

Hi darbs and sweetpea! I LOVE the omelet too. I have mine for lunch often. Most of the time I saute some veges: mushrooms, zucchini, sometimes some bell pepper and green onion and spinach in some evoo and then add the omelet pkg to the pan when the veges are tender. When I'm in a hurry, I will zap the omelet mix in a cup in the microwave, but it's not my favorite way to prepare it. My family has often said "Oooh that smells good!" when I'm cooking my omelet. It's pretty filling with all those veges too!

Probably almonds. A recent discovery for me. 80 calories fills me up when I am desperate. Thank you 3FC for that little tidbit (pun hah).

I have the omelet for breakfast everyday (so no veggies as they are not recommended to have at breakfast). I fill in shaker cup with water just above the ball and then pour in mix and shake. I get the pan really hot and spray with evoo. Dump in mix and cook....I dip it in Frank's red hot...I have had one every day since week two, except if I am somewhere I can't cook it.
