I have felt fatigue, headaches and some increase in my inflammatory joint pains. Two days ago I went back to bed because I felt so icky. Today I'm feeling better and hope this a sign that my body is adjusting to Phase I. I also cut my caffiene way back from being a coffee addict to 2 cups a day. I had read that the body doesn't tolerate caffiene withdrawel very well, not just the headaches but the full effects of caffiene stimulation. I also have IBS that started after gall bladder removal and was prescribed Hyomax. My stomach gurgles a lot and I still bloat but so far it is reducing and I hope to get off Hyomax (which is great for IBS but the side effects aren't). Thank you again for sharing. |
Another beautiful word.
Frusterating. Isn't that wonderful?
(Oh, boy! you're saying to yourself. I knew it was coming. The chick has finally hatched an egg.) Au contraire. Words, like scales, are just symbols. They're meaningless until we imbue them, slather them over with, meaning. Still not convinced? Then all I can say to you is Chocolate! Ah ha. Gotcha. If you'd like a scholarly citation for this marvelous word cum typo, check out the new arrivals thread (and meet a rich new batch of recruits). |

Hi,
I have a few questions... 1 - I would like to make some taco salad but I'm unsure of dressing. Any ideas? 2 - I have a nice recipe for chicken with spinach but it uses sour cream. I'm not sure what to substitute with. 3 - I'm going to Ottawa next week (first time out of town on IP, a bit nervous but have been reading the travelling posts - thanks!). I'm wondering where I can get WF products. Thanks a lot people! This site has been so great for me. |

If it isn't on the protocol sheet, don't eat it. That is what keeps me in line. So far so good. I DO BELIEVE!! |
Hi all. I'm so effing mad. I went to a coffee stand and I don't go often but sometimes when we drive around I want to get a coffee. I get an americano with a tiny bit of sugar free flavoring. I always mix up the flavor for variety, but this tasted really sweet. I drank about 8 oz of it and now I have that "cloudy headed" weird feeling like I've been drugged or something. I don't know how much flavoring she put in there (I also put some Vanilla RTD in it) but I am thinking it wasn't sugar free. If it was, I wouldn't feel like this since I haven't felt like this for almost 3 mo. Don't you think? I will stay away from coffee houses from now on because I don't see what they put in the drink. I thought that would be safe. Guess I was oh so wrong. All my hard work, and now this! GGrrr. Well, I have WI tomorrow and we'll see if that will have affected anything.
Thanks for letting me vent. Have a good rest of the weekend. |

Warning! If you don't follow the directions to cool off the water it may explode on you. Last night I put about 12oz of heated water into the shaker, dropped the tea bags in, steeped for about 4 minutes, put the vanilla mix into the shaker, then closed the small lid and shook it up. Shook it real good. It created so much pressure between the hot water and mix, it popped the small lid off shooting hot tea and pudding mix all over me. I was a mess ha, ha! I wasn't so concerned about being burnt from the tea, but losing part of my valuable small portion of food! |

I go to Starbucks and buy the whole bottle of sugar-free flavouring. (9.99C) If I know I will be out and about, I take my travel mug and put in my milk, splenda and flavour and get the coffee put in after. Then I know for sure what is in it. |
