Hello all! I have a question about tea. I was told that I am allowed tea while on IP and to just drink more water if I do have some. I just bought some loose tea from Teaopia (I got a really nice teapot from my parents for Christmas) and realized that one of the flavors I bought, the Caramelissimo, has caramel pieces and cream and caramel flavoring. It got me thinking that maybe there is tea out there that I shouldn't be drinking while on IP, especially with caramel chunks in it! And the Herbal Chai that I want to have consists of ginger, apple pieces, anise seeds, cardamom, black peppercorns and cloves... is this okay to have?
Also, should it always be caffeine free, or does that matter?
I start IP tomorrow so I will be weighing in for the first time and picking up all my packets... I can ask my coach tomorrow but thought I would put it out there just in case someone has any advice...
