Congratulations to everyone who stuck to the program for Thanksgiving. :)
My dinner: Herb seasoned turkey breast, roasted cauliflower, green beans, and salad. Vanilla pudding with pumpkin pie spice for dessert. To drink.. lots of water and a decaf brewed chai tea with vanilla stevia and my 1oz of skim milk. YEP! Those who read my last post, BF decided, "well, if we can do a T-day, I guess that'd be nice!" Sure, no problem. |
No cheats for me! I am exhausted from making sure everyone had all the fixings they needed.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! |

Yesterday went really well - ate on plan all day (even had people wanting to try my mashed cauliflower) and felt really good. I did have one teeny bit of my husband's apple pie (just the filling made with splenda baking blend, no crust) but that was it.
One big holiday down, one to go! |
Woo hoo I made it without a cheat, and the scale went down this morning. So the No Cheat Thankgiving was a huge success!!! Hope everyone else enjoyed their day
|
no cheats here (except an extra huge portion of turkey lol), and I'm down a lb from yesterday! :)

The Results
I actually ate less! Definitely was legal.

I'm soooo glad I didn't cheat for thanksgiving. I was really tempted to because the dang scale has been stuck in the low 50's all month! The last couple of days it started moving again and I know it wouldn't have if I had cheated. So thanks to everyone that threw their support behind not cheating. I really think I would have if I had been all alone. You guys rock!

Way to go!! :) It makes staying good for Christmas that much easier! |
I also had a great IP Thanksgiving! I was working in a small hospital just over an hour from home. I explained to the cooks I was on a low-carb diet, and they were very kind....large helping of turkey, 1 cup green beans, salad. My hubby and son decided they wanted to come eat with me, so the cooks were delighted to serve them large portions of the traditional meal, and I had the pleasure of their company! (I work away from home a lot, so it was so sweet they wanted to join me) :carrot::carrot::carrot:

We spent Thanksgiving week in the North Carolina mountains with my niece and her husband. I decided to stay on plan, no pressure from my family to do other wise. My husband has been very supportive for the past 27 weeks. I don't know exactly which phase I will be on at Christmas.
